  1. Our friends stayed in 1406 and 1706 on the Liberty. They LOVED this room. The balcony is huge. yes there is the structure of the ship, but it really is not a problem. you also do not look directly down into the water, but our friends liked that, they honestly got a little freaked out when they were on our balcony. It didn't bother us because you are looking out not down anyways. We were in 1400 and none of us had any problems with soot or noise. I will post pics of the balcony to give you an idea.

  2. We were on Liberty in Nov., we had 1400 our friends had 1406 and 1706. None of us had any noise problems nor did we have any soot issues. We all loved our rooms and are now completely spoiled! You just can't beat the balconies! We also did not find the walk to the aft that bad, honestly your doing a lot of walking anyway. Plus it's quite because you only have the people who also have rooms in the aft, not a lot of foot traffic. I will try to post some pics.

  3. We did a party of 19 and used MTD. I did email the dining depth that another poster mentioned. We did eat at around the same time each night, but it would not have been a problem if we changed times as long as we told them ahead of time. It worked out great, they sat us at the same two tables each night. They were very accommodating on the Liberty.

  4. We were on los this past Nov. and my 6ft son slept on it and said it was fine. Not the best but doable. We did have a egg crate on it and our steward asked if he could leave it opened up because it was difficult trying to find a place for it each day. I said it was fine because we had suite 1400 which is quite large. I actually slept on it and thought it was find also. But ask for an egg crate made a big difference.

  5. We did this for a group of 19 on Liberty. I email the dinning dept and requested the same thing you did. I received an email from MPrieto1@rccl.com and she stated they would forward the request to Liberty but they could not guarantee anything. They came through, we had 2 tables next to each other. It worked out great. As a side note we even had MTD. We did eat at the same time each day to make it easier to accommodate the request.

  6. I was on that same cruise and it was not what I wanted to eat. I can always eat the pasta but I did not even know what it was?? I love it on Majesty and Enchantment. Did not have the condiments for the pasta and I never did see meat sauce. I ate sandwiches from the Café. Ordered fruit and cheese plates from room service. Did eat in dining room 2 days for breakfast, Ate in Chops first night. I read somewhere on here that they made the head waiter the chef in Windjammer. If for sure you know better feel free to correct me. Cookies are always good, ate a lot of cookies. :-)

I will correct you. Not sure if you read it in my post but Al was our waiter in mtd. He was promoted to a management position in wj not a chef. I never put in my original post that he became a chef.

  7. To the future cruisers of the Liberty keep in mind food is a subjective subject. I was on Nov 23rd sailing of the Liberty and thought the food was fine. Was it the best ever no, some things I didn't like and some I loved. If you don't like something move on you will find something you do like. It all depends on what your tastes are.

  8. We cruised on the liberty when this rolled out and my sil got it and liked it. She was able to get specialty teas and coffees (mochas cappuccino etc) fronm the cafe promenade and mdr. Also bottled water however they would only give her one at a time. Frozen cocktails are included but ONLY nonalcoholic versions. Also the pop was included.
