Ok Freedom Nov 22 is now available. IT is having some fun.
-
The same thing is happening on the Freedom 11/22/2015. When I do a mock booking the only category showing available is inside. Interesting. Hopefully it's IT at the finest.

We had 1400 on Liberty, sister ship to the Freedom. We did not hear anything. You can go o. Cruislinerooms and see pics of your rooms. Don't forget to check out Liberty and Independence because they are sister ships. Enjoy your room our friends had that room and loved it.

Loved the video, thanks for sharing. We are doing this same cruise in nov, 2015. I hope we have as much fun as you guys!

Used my birth certificate and drivers license, brought my marriage license and they never asked for it. Just bring everything you have, relax and have a great time! (But if your like me you will still worry until your on the ship!)

There are pics in the thread. If you can't click on the link just google serenade of the seas 9654 and it will show pics.

Don't think the op needs the marriage license in this case. With the Oasis issue, none of the docs that person had matched the name on the cruise booking. In this case the passport in maiden name and drivers license in the name of the cruise docs is actually much better than just a BC and drivers license
Still need marriage cert. You need a bridge document showing name change. Called RD before our cruise they confirmed. They actually said brides do get turned away at Port for not having proof. At port they did ask for mine.

you have like 7 months to find a cruise, why is the room you got such a big deal, they have 1000 other rooms just like it??
Not always, if you need a handicap room those are limited. Also if you have some of the rooms on the hump or aft rooms those are highly sought after and booked very fast. Some of these rooms are one or two of a kind.

Great review! We were on the Liberty in Nov and loved it. Thanks for the info on Labadee and Jamaica.

I forgot to mention 1400 / 1700 are the only aft cabins on freedom class that do not have obstructions. The view is nothing but wake!

We had 1400 on Los and loved it. You will here no noise from windjammer. It's a large cabin, great balcony and very private. We actually have 7408 booked on freedom because we needed to stay on deck 7. I would prefer 1400, but by no means am I upset at 7408. Looking forward to the balcony, just not the smaller room. You will find it very difficult to go back to a "normal" room!

I was wondering about that symbol also.

Thank you! My daughter is 13, I was just curious when I saw a photo of a Pullman that stated the child can not be under 6. They must not enforce it.
-
We are currently booked into room 7708 on Freedom of the seas. I am very excited to have this room. My question is this, the pullman states that no child under age 6 can sleep on it, so does that mean the small couch makes into a bed? I know the room only sleeps 3, but do all the couches have the capabilities of turning into a bed even if there is a pullman in the room. Just curious.

I can not speak for the motion regarding forward cabins, but I do know the best FOV are 8200 or 8500. You get "3" rooms. You can google those cabins for photos or do a search on CC. Our friends stay in a Promenade family cabin and loved it. It was one room but huge! walk in closet, seperate bunk area, and nice bath. Plus it was convenient walking to things. I believe the other familiy OV rooms are smaller, but they do hold 6 people.
Hope this helps.

Yes, we were on in Nov and our group had 3 aft balconies, all had loungers.
-
Here is another with my kids in the bed. Remember my son is 6ft 240lb.
-
This is a pic of the sofa D1 on Liberty. If you are used to sleeping on a king size bed or even a queen it will be tight. This is more like a double. I had to share it one night with my son who is 6ft and 240. We were both fine, but we are also campers and used to small sleeping areas. He slept by the wall.

Same here can't watch on phone, but worked on my laptop. Thanks for the video. Missed the parade when we were on her, so no I caught it, thank you!

My family used birth certificates to board the Liberty and had no problem. Mine and my husband's are over 40 years old and rough. All had the raised seal. Just make sure it is a certified copy with raised seal. If you are nervous you can always go down to the county offices where it was issued (if you still live near by) and get a copy on the spot. It would take longer by mail.

Unfortunately it was our first cruise and I really don't know how I would like a regular balcony now!!!!!

Here are two more for the balcony, different angle.

I have only stayed in 1400 on Liberty but here are some pics. I believe the only difference is the pole on the balcony.

Awsome enjoy! We have to wait until November 2015 to enjoy 7408 on Freedom. I can't wait to compare, we had 1400 last year and that is a great cabin. Take lots of pics!
