  1. My first car was a mini too in 1982, a very basic one. It was red with a black roof, I loved it. Mini’s have certainly changed over the years my hubby has a Mini Cooper, one of the high rise ones. They are quite a big car now compared to the early ones. I still like the old ones, they were dinky and fun Michelle
  2. I hope he is feeling better soon. I think the weather is not going to be as good over the weekend. Hopefully you will get a nice week when you re-book Michelle
  3. I did something similar Avril. My dad died just over four years ago and when my mum moved over here we brought with us a cutting of my dads rhubarb, it’s still going strong and still tastes a nice as ever.
  4. The weather is not too bad here, sunny/cloudy but feels quite warm. Just been to the gym and it says 18 degrees in my car. Just going to have coffee then it’s dog walking again. Hope you are all having a nice Monday and looking forward to the warmer weather forecast for later in the week. I have finished my antibiotics and steroids and I am glad to report my coughing is definitely better, I hope it stays that way because coughing all the time is exhausting. Michelle
  5. Totally agree, I have a Citroen Spacetourer and it is fantastic, a eight speed gearbox, you can’t even feel it change gear. Hubby also has a hybrid automatic Mini Cooper which is fab too. Automatics so much easier Michelle
  6. It was raining earlier here but nice and sunny now and feels warm. I am sat in the conservatory and it’s too hot even with doors open. Been doing normal house hold jobs this morning. Picking my mum up this afternoon and having a trip out even if it’s only coffee somewhere. Lytham Hall has a nice coffee shop in a nice setting so maybe there. Going to Boundary Mills tomorrow as my mum wants a new summer jacket, don’t think I have been there for about 10 years Have a nice day everyone Michelle
  7. That is very pretty and clever. You should do craft fairs Michelle
  8. Glad to hear you are feeling better Sarah. You are right, the coughing is exhausting Michelle
  9. Thanks Josy, hopefully the antibiotics will do the trick Michelle
  10. Morning everyone, hope you are all ok this morning. It’s a lovely day here with only a slight breeze, forecast 19 degrees later. Well having had the dreaded you know what a few weeks ago I am still coughing a lot. A trip to Drs yesterday, now on another course of antibiotics and steroids and got to go for a chest X-ray. I shouldn’t grumble really because they are looking after me well. Sarah, how are you feeling now? Michelle
  11. Good luck today Josy, you will have nice weather to play in too.
  12. Glad you are feel a bit better, hopefully better again by tomorrow Michelle
  13. Morning everyone, cloudy and breezy here this morning. There is a big picnic by us at Fairhaven Lake today so I hope the weather improves a bit. Final day of celebrations at Ashton Gardens too with a fun dog show today. I enjoyed the concert last night, Queen were best in my opinion, the crowd looked like they were enjoying themselves. Diversity were good too. Diana Ross…. mmmm….not quite so good but considering her age well she was good really. Well I took my Jubilee Trifle to the street party yesterday and it all was eaten so I just hope no-one was ill later. Have a nice day everyone Michelle
