See the other thread you already posted this question in.....:)
As to access, I found they just always recognized us by our face and greeted us by name when entering. there is no keycard access system...
Ha, yeah. I guess this was answered. I can be a bit spacey at times.

We're traveling with 4 people in a PH and 2 in a Sky suite. I'm assuming those in a Sky Suite won't have access to Michaels? Or since they are traveling with us, can they be allowed in?
Also, at this point (before April, 2015), are there any other benefits of the Penthouse over the Sky Suite besides Michaels?
Haven't been on Celebrity for years, so I have no idea how access is granted or shown. Thanks for the input!

Wrong post, sorry

Hot spots/cafes are a good idea. Thanks for the replies!

Due to work reasons, I'll need to stay connected on our Europe trip on the Constellation. Two questions; is there an unlimited internet package available and/or or is it complimentary (yet) with a PH suite? Also, I know ships don't have blazing fast internet, but is the speed relatively fast? I'll need to mostly do emails, but may need to look at presentations too. Thanks for any input!

We booked a guarantee Sky Suite and got one that we're happy with. However, I noticed there are a lot of Royal Suites still available for our trip in less than 2 months. Does Celebrity offer upgrades to people who booked guarantees or is there a chance we could move up? Just curious…Thanks!

It's a flight at 10:20 AM to LHR and then connection of 2.5 hours. It seems like I should have enough time, unless someone can say I made a huge mistake? I'd rather have the time connecting in LHR than an extra hour to get through the airport at AMS. If I'm wrong, please tell me. Thanks!

Thanks for the replies. Does Celebrity participate in a luggage straight to airline program (Celebrity delivers the luggage straight to the carrier)? We're flying British Airways back, but if we go with the earlier flight, I was wondering if this would be an easier/faster option. Thanks!

I'm trying to book flights, I was hoping someone could tell me what the earliest flight from Amsterdam can be? The ship is supposed to dock at 5 AM and the choice air program shows flights as early as 10 AM. Is this a safe time to book? Thanks!

I put a hold on a guarantee and when I went to pay for it, the price went up to a non-guarantee rate. Has this happened to anyone? I thought the 24 hour hold would keep the rate too?

Just to provide an update, it turns out not to be a problem. My wife can disembark in Stockholm before the cruise ends, we just need to send an email to the emergency team @ celebrity with our booking info. Thanks to everyone who responded.

I wasn't sure if our daughter could make the cruise with us, but it turns out she can now. I booked a suite guarantee, but wanted to know if I could add her to our reservation for our room or have to book her a separate room. Thanks!

I put a cabin on hold early this morning, but I can't book until I talk with special services on Monday when they open. Is the 24 hour hold exactly 24 hours or does it extend to the end of the following day (i.e. midnight Monday)? Thanks!
-
I really don't think it's scamming the system. It's not like I'm trying to sneak someone onboard. I just don't understand why I have to pay more for 1 person in a cabin. Their pricing structure is pretty unique in that way.
-
Is this possible? My family is traveling on a Europe cruise and my wife has to get back for business before the cruise ends. Is it possible for her to get off early? Thanks!
-
Not a joke. It's several hundred dollars to several thousand dollars less to book 2 in a cabin than 1 since they offer a guarantee for all cabin categories for 2 people, but don't offer the guarantee if your traveling solo. Crazy.
-
Here's a question I'm hoping someone can answer…Celebrity has a room guarantee for every room category that is much cheaper than if I select just single occupancy for the room because there is no guarantees for single occupancy rooms.
So my question is…if I book for 2 and don't have another person for the room, what happens when I check in? Does the phantom 2nd person just show as a 'no show'? I could just make up the credentials for guest #2…thoughts on this?

The sideboard is empty. Service has been dismal so far as it was in 2011. Hoping it's just first day problems. Tried to get on to the internet before with no luck . Service was so awesome on the Eurodam in oct. I was hoping for the best.
Is service any better today? Hate to hear that service is bad...

Is the Pinnacle Grill available for Neptune Suite guests for breakfast or not ? It is NOT listed as a benefit on the HA website.
It's called "Exclusive breakfast service" under the benefits. I don't think HAL has ever called it "breakfast in the Pinnacle Grill", I think some suite passengers may miss out on it if they are not aware that's what HAL means.
-
I do like both Celebrity and HAL, but Celebrity is really stepping up the suite benefits and it seems like HAL's are starting to get stale and don't stack up nearly as well anymore. With Michaels Club converting to the new suite concierge lounge, this makes up for the lack of one on Celebrity. Anyways, I hope HAL considers implementing more suite benefits otherwise Celebrity may be more appealing to us in the future.

Thanks for the responses, youtube link, and thanks Sail for posting the picture of the doors. Very helpful!

Quick question, does the Pinnacle Suite have bedroom doors or a curtain on the Noordam? We're traveling with our daughter so there will be 3 of us in the room. Thanks!
-
In that case they will be expecting you and will take care of everything. They might even be able to hold the ship for a while if it's close.
Good to know. Thanks! I guess an agent would be waiting at the airport then even if our flight is very late?
-
I would never do that either. You don't say where you are flying in from and your profile doesn't tell us where you live but we need at least two days to recover from jet lag. Why would you risk missing a day of your cruise? How long is your cruise.
It'll be a flight within Europe as we have a business trip before the cruise, so we should be fine with jet lag and the flight is about 3 hours.

The Noordam is Holland America, not Celebrity. The no host minibar is just a minibar that is pay as you consume and is not complimentary on Holland America and not yet complimentary on Celebrity until April and only for the top suites.
