Check the price of two inter-conneting rooms. You may find that the pricing is very similar to a suite and then you get two bathrooms.

On the Sunshine OV suites 5340 and 5341 have a separate room with a door.

Last week on the Sunshine I was part of a group of 14 and we used this app a lot. I was great for finding who was where and when to meet. I also included all the fun times lists, opening times for restaurants and account balance. We also decided next time we would bring a ipod for the kids so they could have the app too. My son and his friend were able to sign themselves out of the kids club. so it would have been handy for them to message us.

We picked up some last week on the Sunshine

I am on the Sunshine in a couple of weeks. Which cabin are you in? If you don't want to say now let me know when you get off the ship.

If anyone knows can you please let me know if in the cruise terminal if there is a kids pool/splash pad? And if toddlers are able to go in the pool using swim pants?
Thanks!

If you are a Costco member code W852802 has given me good deals.

A 45 minute layover for me is too short from experience. I had a 35 minute layover once and it was awful. We were on the plane ready to leave and some passenger had checked bags and didn't show. We left 50 minutes late because they had to deplane the bags.
We missed our connection and had to wait 12 hours for the next flight. It was a long weekend and our two car seats were checked. So we now know Calgary airport too well.
Now if there is a direct flight I take it!

When I vacation I have known too many people who have lost their bags. So in my carryon I always hve one change of clothes and my bathingsuit. I also do the same for the kids too. As for shoes if I am cruising out of Florida I leave time for shopping before. So I may leave home with 4 pair but return with 8.

I was unaware of credit cards covering like travel insurance. We have always purchased insurance. Can you tell me how that works, especially if you are making credit card payments up until cruise deadline.
I have a travel Visa card so it covers cancellation, interruption, lost baggage, car rental, medical etc. So when we had an illness we cancelled and had to submit all receipts and information from our doctor.
I never buy separate insurance because I have this card. It also accumulates points to spend on travel too.

I had to cancel my last one about 3 weeks out because of medical reasons. Thank goodness for my credit card having travel insurance.

There's a few restaurants by the beach and no shore excursions which go there. I have heard it is a nice beach which the ship crew often go to because it is less busy. It is only a 2 minute drive from the Havensight port.
-
I have heard there is a small beach with shade that doesn't get the crowd that Magen's does. Does anyone know the name?

Unfortunately we are not able to do luggage express because we are flying out of the US.

Hi there,
We are going to book the Carnival Airport transfers from Port Canaveral to MCO. Since we have airport transfers do we need to collect our bags when we get off the ship or do they take them directly to the bus?
Also if we have transfers does this affect the disembarkation time they give us? Our flight is at 1pm.

Thank you OP, my friends and I just ordered for our January cruise! Great deal for sure.
-
How do you see they are almost sold out?
When you go into to book if it is getting low it will say only so many left. There's one for my cruise which says only 8 spaces left.

The prices are still 1.99 and the taxes in Ontario are 13%, but 1,2,6,7 round down and 3,4,8,9 round up when you pay cash. However most people use debit/credit and they get charged to the penny.

We mainly got the room because at the back of the sunshine it is basically and two room suite. There's an oceanview livingroom where the boys will sleep and a balcony bedroom. Given our boys will be 8 and 10 we wanted the extra space. Otherwise we would have just booked two rooms.

It depends on who is travelling. Just me and my kids we can do late easily. My next cruise we are going with my sister and she will have a 2 year old so we are doing the early seating. I also enjoy having the same staff every night. Usually the second night my dinner drink is waiting for me.

I have an OS booked on the Sunshine for January. I am trying to fi d the list of perks but it is not clear and I have found conflicting information. I know there is priority embarkation but do I also get priority debark too? My cruise has no tenders so that is not even a concern.

In Canada you can use your chip and pin cards and we also have tap. If you don't have a chip card then you should still be able to swipe. When we travel to the US we find it really wierd having to swipe our cards and then sign... we never sign anymore with the chip and tap technology. Funny thing is when we went to Disney they didn't realize their magic band technology enables tapping cards, we were doing it all the time much to the retailers surprise it worked.

Here's the situation, I have a cruise booked on Carnival Sunshine for January 2016. I see a different number of excursions available to book based on which browser I am using:
Chrome on a PC: 4
Android Tablet browser: 13
Internet Explorer on a PC: 30
This is very strange!!!

Room location advice on the Sunshine
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
We just got back from a really great cruise on the Sunshine. We stayed in room 5341 which is a two room aft oceanview suite. The room was great and I would definately book it again. The only down side was the vibration from the engine.
From exploring the ship I found two locations I would never want to book. These were on decks 1 fwd-mid & 6.
Deck 1 - I felt bad for these people. On the days in port the way the Sunshine is designed everyone goes to wait on deck one to get off the ship. If you have early port times and you like to sleep this would not be good!
Deck 6 - We are non-smokers. We found with the Casino on deck 5 we would go up a floor to get from our aft cabin to the front where the funshops are. After two days we started going up two floors because deck 6 mid had a strong pressence of smoke on it. The reason being the mid-ship stair well opens up into the casino and the smoke rises and goes right onto deck six. After we started going to deck seven it was much better. If you are a smoker then this may not be an issue. But if my room had been there I would either had to move or disembark at the first port as I get migraines from cigarette smoke.
So will I go again, yes I am already booked on the Sunshine. But I will make sure that I stay away from these two areas.
