My good friend U. Ber will get you from the airport to the Island. Then he will get you to the pier on the day of your cruise. The airport to island trip won’t be cheap, but it will be efficient. 
 

Then you can book a shuttle back to the airport after you board the ship of dreams. Or Mr U. Ber can whisk you away the morning you arrive back in port. 
 

Galveston cruises… there will be a limited drink menu for the first few hours of your cruise.(Royal wants to limit paying too much in tax to Texas) 

also, depending on your sail date, there can be fog issues leaving and returning. So plan your flight leaving with a good buffer of time. 

Seems you might get a Lavaflow.

Recently on the Explorer and a fellow passenger was working in the “computer” room, I was in the library/game room. I got a pretty good stock tip as she was working so loud, I could hear every move she was making.  Try to work in your stateroom if the internet is good at that location. 

I've been packing whiskey in single serving creamer packs for years, so actual creamer would be fine.

Greatest article, I didn't read.  If it keeps people off my ships, fantastic.  Less demand - better cruising.

You could have collected your in-transit pass and new stateroom card from guest services or loyalty concierge and headed to the city as soon as the ship starts debarking passengers.

Some read your emails early, many read them the night before you embark. They are busy folks.

Yes, usually a discount for pressing related to the first "formal" night.  I've checked with my local dry cleaner and the prices aboard aren't much higher.

cruise… everything else will be fine. 

Entertainment of Royal is generally very good. With 30+ ships almost up and running, they have a good variety of shows and entertainers. BUT... If you sail on your "home" port ship a lot you seen what that ship has to offer many times. (Navigator for us)

waitlisting must be preventing you from making flexible dining times????
