Ok thanks for the responses. i thought I read a review somewhere when the cruiser started the 2nd leg, because they were a b2b, they got use of the diamond lounge. Maybe I was mistaken and misread the rewiew

I wouldnt think you would need an extra day on the end of the cruise to make it to GA. We went to Port Canaveral for a Freedom cruise, took the early self disembark and were in the car on the way home by 730am made it to VA before dark.

They are full of mattresses

What perks do you get for being a B2B cruiser. I heard on the 2nd leg you were considered diamond for the week. Is that true? Any other perks?

I bet the Quest is very interesting on this cruise.

I like the Royal Promenade. Freedom is my favorite class. I have never done Oasis class because I kind of feel its a little too big. But I'm sure I will check it out one day.

last month when we were on Freedom, We self carried our luggage off the ship. This is usually around 6:30 am but this time it seemed like alot more people did this as well. There was a huge line waiting to get off the ship. Its still faster but not as fast in years past. Also, VERY IMPORTANT Unless you can have one hand free, you have to wait for the elevator which takes forever. You cant fit very many people and their luggage in an elevator. If you can carry your luggage with one hand you can bypass the people waiting for the elevator and use the escelator. We used the escelator and were through customs and in the car around 730. Hope this helps.

Windjammer has the best selection but it is super crowded. Cafe promenade and sorrentos like the above poster said if you dont mind okay pizza or mini sandwiches, cookies and cakes

In my past experience you will not see it on the website. Unless its hidden somewhere I dont know about. You can see it on the detailed printout of the charges you paid they email you. Its on the left side maybe 1/3 way down page. The document has a technical term but I forgot

Heres the Roll Call for this cruise. You may be able to make friends and learn about the trip

Thank you for the great review. We will be on the Freedom this Sunday for western Caribbean. Thanks for posting a daily compass. It is really neat to see all the activities that are going on.
Did you have any experience with the golf simulator? I have used some good ones and horrible ones in the past and was curious if this would be worth it.
Thanks again.
I was on Freedom in September and did use the Golf Simulator. I did the longest drive competition. I didnt like the fact that the rubber tees we SO TALL and felt I kept getting under it. I have a higher ball flight. If you hit the ball higher on the screen it didnt register correctly. I normally drive the ball between 280 to 305. Mine registered 170yards. I noticed some of the other guys with low ball flights did get the distance. One even hit the cart path and bounced. Ended up about 340yard drive. It looks like fun if you had a little more time with it. You should try it.

will you please send the compasses to epcopres at msn dot com

We loved our aft on Freedom room 7710. Yours on the 9th deck will have more sun due to not being covered or partially covered. My balcony was 10ft x 10ft. So there was plenty of room. we had 6 people standing on balcony along with the 2 loungers, 2 chairs and table. I may have some pics I can upload.

We were on the Freedom 3 weeks ago and he was hilarious. One of the bests cruise directors I have seen.

One more Day :)

I think Inside connecting PR would be the best. Lots of space compared to a balcony, cheaper and a front row seat for the parades

Great review. I love the pics. Do you know how many people are allowed in the cabanas at labadee?
-
Thats not a bad gig is it? work for 10 weeks in beautiful tropical weather meeting new friendly people then 10 weeks off.
-
When it says (started rotation mm/dd/yy) what is the rotation weekly monthy etc... How do you know which captain will be on which sailing
-
I looked at the cabanas at labadee on rc website and it only seems to list barefoot beach not nellies. Has anyone else had this happen. If so how do i book.

All Aft Balconies on Independence had both regular and lounge chairs, although the Royal/Presidential Family Suites had much nicer padded loungers than the D/E staterooms.
Thats great news :) i have one in May Hopefully nothing changes
