Alternatively, you may board with your own bottle of Veuve.

If bought through AARP, there is a 10% discount, but with the RCL ones they are a pain to apply.
Do you have a suggestion on how to apply this? Because I'm booked through a TA and if it's not allowed to be applied to bookings through an agent, do I just lose this money?

I'm used to paying for my cruises with gift cards.
First time trying this on RC, I purchased a Royal Caribbean virtual gift card.
My travel advisor is not able to apply it in the booking engine. He called in and RC does not know how to assist. The CS rep kept saying that gift cards can only be applied to bookings made directly with the cruise line.
Does anyone have experience with this?

This is easily done by calling Carnival. Since you're staying on the same sailing, there won't be penalties.

We are considering a quick beach cruise right after Thanksgiving. But everywhere I search, the reviews are awful.
Has anyone on this board been on the ship recently and can chime in?
Is she really THAT bad??

Yes, go into your Cruise Manager. Booking and Order page.
Edit order - cancel.

Priority embarkation, 1 large bottle of water, complimentary cookies.
Larger cabin.
I cruise in suites for the space, not for the perks.

I have a question about onboard bar crawls. I understand that I need to mind my own business, but this intrigues me.
It's now the 3rd cruise group page that I'm involved in where a bar crawl/cruise crawl is offered by seemingly a professional organization. There are links for registration and T-shirt sales.
Is this approved by Carnival? Because, what happens if we pay and these events are forbidden/stopped by the cruise line?

Carnival pays for the flights 60 days out.

I spy under steakhouse selections.
Not what I meant. There used to be Tenderloin filet on the regular MDR menu.
Unfortunately they also took the filet away from the Seaday Brunch steak & eggs, as well as from the Diamond luncheon.

I'm on the Celebration right now. There's a section of the MDR menu entrees called Every Day. On it is a grilled chicken breast and a broiled strip loin steak. It's the same two choices every night, it doesn't change. So the broiled strip loin streak is available every night as a choice on your cruise.
The striploin steak is not the filet. The filet cut is Tenderloin.

Trying to settle a discussion. On the Celebration- is there a specific night that filet is offered on the new MDR menu?

Thanks, picked up a couple. How long for email delivery?
Good question. I've been waiting over13 hours. Should I be worried? Usually I receive the emailed cards within the hour.

Thanks for the heads up!

Come on Carnival........make a change! The little things add up.....
On the social media someone wrote that they were able to get cans at the coffee shop. I was actually hoping someone here would chime in and confirm.

We have used them many times. No complaints. They're on time (except 1 time pick up from the port) and the pricing is reasonable.
-
I'm sure this has been asked before, but here it goes.
On the Celebration, if you have Bottomless Bubbles, can you use the soda machines on Lido for free?
And will they give you cans at Java Blue(Bubbly) and at the bars?
-
Actually on the Mardi Gras it works out better to have AnyTime Dining because this way you can eat early and for free in ChiBang, Cucina del Capitano and Pig and Anchor.
If you have a set Dining time, you can only book these after 7.45 pm.

If it didn't have a sofa, your TA would not be able to book 3 of you in that cabin.

I print both boarding passes to show the port terminal staff if they inquire about my 2 bottles of wine.

So to do online check-in you need to provide a credit card?
Yes. It's asking us for our card details in order to continue the online check-in process. But we wish to have a cash account.
-
Thank you. And now for the silly question - if we don't check in online, how will we get our boarding passes and luggage tags?
-
We have been cruising on other cruise lines and going on our first RC cruise for Christmas. One important issue we ran into - when doing our online check-in on the App, there's no option to choose a cash account for our onboard expenses (like other lines).
Is this just not an option with Royal Caribbean?
Never been on a waitlist...What are my chances of getting on 10 days from now
in Carnival Cruise Lines

I have also paid $500 to be placed on a wait list for the Celebration. This was in March. I was never contact by Carnival, but kept checking online almost every hour. One cabin did pop up (I assume a last minute cancelation) and I grabbed it. Had to be paid within the hour, so I called in and had the $500 moved over.
