  1. It is a crapshoot lately on Princess. Prices go all over the place. I have put cruises on hold at a price and when I look at booking online price is higher and with different ammenities. When I have gone through the casino and actually booked I get a confirmation with different price and amenities and then are charged a cancellation fee to get it corrected. I am so frustrated.

  2. I had a similar problem in July booking a Feb 2023 casino cruise. Confirmation was wrong price,  freeplay amount wrong, and credit card was charged for full amount of cruise. When I called back lady said she needed to cancel it and rebook. She did rebook correct price and freeplay amount but made me pay $500 deposit. She said amount charged to my card the previous day would be refunded to card within 7-10 days. Finally received part of refund 43 days after charged (and several phone calls to casino) and I am still owed $400. Have phoned and left msgs for Fernando, Carlos, Sandra, and Susan and have received no calls back. Very frustrating when Princess service used to be so good. I am hesitant to book some cruises I would like in 2023 until they can correct their error and return some calls.

  3. We were upgraded yesterday to an undesired cabin (at aft elevator connecting cabin) for the 3rd time from our desired midship extended balcony. Fortunately I was able to get our original cabin back again. I was told the time before that booking was marked no upgrade before was was upgraded  to same cabin 3 times. I  sure do miss Princess old good customer service and efficiency. I am also still waiting for partial refund  of screwed up booking made in July. They told me to correct their error they had to cancel and rebook and I had to pay deposit again. I received $1260 back to credit card but they still owe me another $400. This is for a Feb 23 cruise. Same one as above 3 upgrades. Is very frustrating. 

  4. Saw an offer in circle savings acct about VIP offer to book by 8/17 w/some freeplay but have not received an email or brochure about details. Emailed casino for details by have not received a reply. Anybody have details on specific cruises, discounts, plus included, etc. ? Any good phone number or extension to call? Thanks in advance

  5. We were very disappointed in the breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet on our Caribbean Princess sailing in May. After experiencing Horizon Court on Regal and Sky don't believe we will ever go back to CB. Really missed the fresh pastas and various shrimp available. CB had a lot of weird dishes.

  6. On our recent cruise on Pride they stopped my carryon after X-ray and asked me to open it. I had my wine in it so thought they wanted to check and make sure it wasn't other alcohol. That isn't what they wanted to see. I also had 2 toiletry bags with small scissors. They confiscated both pairs of scissors. These scissors have traveled with me on 106 cruises without a problem. Is this something new? They said I could claim them when I disembarked but I have heard from others who were directed multiple places and never got their confiscated items back. 

    I really liked those scissors, little fold up kind. My deceased mother in law gave them to me. Can't understand what they thought I would do with them. Carnival gives me big steak knives onboard and trusts me with them.

  7. On Regal in January and got only gin. In February on Regal got Scotch and Gin. Gave them all away. Ugh. Also another note is no Crown Royal in bars still. Shop sells it but not bars. Nearest thing to Crown was VO
