  1. We are on the Oasis in February. We will be in a Central Park balcony cabin. Does anyone know if there are any USB outlets in the room? Any outlets by the bed? What toiletries are in the bathroom, I.e. shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, lotion. Is there a hair dryer and a magnifying mirror in the desk? Is there a night light in the bathroom?

We plan to travel with carry-ons and backpacks only so need to whittle down what we normally bring. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers, Elizabeth

  2. I posted this on the Private Islands area and have had no response. I will try here.

We are bringing our family on the Anthem of the Seas during the March Break. We had planned to purchase Coco Cay water park passes for six of our family members, four grandchildren and our two sons. There will be two ships in port that day and ours arrives two hours after the other ship arrives. So I ask:

    • Will there be huge lineups for the water slides and other activities in the water park?
    • Will they spend more time in lines than actually enjoying the slides?
    • Do they limit the number of passes sold?
    • Will we feel we overpaid for this outing?
    • Will both ships be able to dock?
    • Is there anything else to do at the port?

Any and all information to help help us decide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Cheers, Betty

  4. We are going on the Z next week, so enjoy your positive comments on the ship.

One question - how was the tree leaf colors? Last time we did this cruise a strong storm blew down most of the leaves and we are hoping this time will be better.

We were also on this cruise. It is still a bit early for the full fall colours. A week or two makes a big difference. As well, we always hope to see the changing leaves before the wind gets them. 😜

  5. Hi all!

Hubby and I are looking at a cruise on the Liberty out of Galveston in January 2019. We would like to arrive a couple of days before.

Would you suggest pre-cruise in Houston or Galveston? What is the best way to get from Houston to Galveston? What hotels would you recommend? What would you recommend we do in Galveston and Houston? Would you recommend ship transfer to Houston?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Cheers, Betty

  6. We almost always do self-disembarkation. Just a note that elevators can sometimes be quite busy that morning, so keep that in mind. Happy Sailing!

We did self disembarkation after our Alaska cruise. The elevators were an issue so we took an “up” elevator and made the round trip! 🙂

  7. Hello fellow cruisers!

I have been emailing HAL to ask these questions, and after several tries, I am hoping one of you can give me a straight answer, as HAL certainly hasn’t.

Q1. Does the Signature Beverage Package include bottled water.

Q2. When does the Exploration Cafe open in the morning. Hubby loves his lattes and cappuccinos first thing and apparently this is where they are available.

    Thanks so much.

    Regards, Betty

  8. Hi All!

We have cruised HAL, RCI, Princess & Celebrity and loved them all for different reasons.

Hubby and I have never cruised with NCL. We are looking at a 7 night round trip Barcelona on Epic in October 2018. What about this ship is a must do/try? Are reservations required for shows? Are the complimentary eating venues good? Which pay restaurants are good.

I would appreciate any info you could provide. Thanks a bunch.

    Cheers, Betty
