We are planning a cruise that will have us departing from FLL around 7:00 pm. Any suggestions on what we can do with our luggage when departing the ship? Thanks!

If I was going to try to drive you insane, I'd post a story about how I just booked the same cruise you're on and got the cabin next to yours and how happy I am that RCCL approved me bringing my 18 "assistance" cats and said they'd also open the wall between our balconies so the cats would have room to roam.
Oh, how I wish it were true! I love cats and this would make the cruise extra special. LOL

I, also, booked choice air, one way, from Ottawa to Barcelona after the cruise was booked. It did not affect my cruise prices at all. As well, the air fare was the best price I found.

Several years back we wanted to book a verandah cabin. They were being held for people possibly booking the land tour portion of the Alaska cruise. We decided to cruise with another line rather than be put on a waiting list.

Hubby and I will be on the Allure in October. We are bracing for "sticker shock" when we go to purchase bar beverages! I just returned from a Bermuda cruise on the HAL Veendam and the prices were great. Every day there was a "happy hour" in the Ocean Bar where drinks were "buy one get a second for one dollar. The price for two Jim Beam bourbons with tip came to $7.99.

On our b2b in January, we were told to bring 4 bottles of wine and 2 would be held for us until the second cruise.

We took our 7 yr old granddaughter and 4 yr old grandson on the Radiance last August. They had a blast! They absolutely loved it. We would have breakfast together and then they were off to the kids' program. Sometimes they even stayed for lunch! We would pick them up for dinner and they went back to the program after (their choice). There are many more positive things to this cruise but definitely let them try the program. Anything else you want to ask, please do so. By the way, Emma loved the fact she could order from the regular menu and not just the kids'.

I agree that a port (or org) 😉 side cabin is best. That is what we book when we are doing a southbound.

We loved the performance by The Unexpected Boys a few years ago. As a Jersey Boys type performance it was extremely well received! We also loved Forever Plaid as it has great music, humour and some audience participation. We were one of the couples on the Oasis that left Cats at intermission. It was not enjoyable for us. I had seen Cats many years ago and loved it. This was definitely not the same. In my opinion, shows with beloved music such as The Four Seasons, Abba, Beach Boys, Beatles, Elvis, to name a few, would make for excellent shows. Add comedy and it would be a hit! IMHO

Red velvet cake at Chops, roasted garlic soup, all the lamb dishes, salads & soups at Park Cafe.
Can't wait for the Allure in October to hopefully be able to experience some of theses wonderful dishes.

We enjoyed The Schooner Bar most days for our pre dinner drink. Michael was the best bar staffer we have ever had the pleasure to meet. This was on our b2b in January.

Dress code Grande Dining Room Anthem OTS
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
We are planning a cruise on the Anthem and were reading about the dining options. It is stated that the Grande restaurant requires formal dress.
On formal nights on other RCI ships, we have seen everything from shorts to tuxedos in the main dining rooms.
Would my husband be out of place, or even permitted to enter, the Grande without at least a jacket?
I would appreciate any information you can give me regarding this question.
Regards, Betty
