  1. The Enhanced cruises out of San Pedro still require the test, unfortunately. I have called Urgent Care. Won't do it for anyone with insurance. (yeah that's what they said) and CVS doesn't do it at the location in San Pedro
  2. I leave the 15th of March. Cruise is the 17th of March. Perhaps if I got it late in the day on the 14th, it would count as 3 days?? LOL
  3. Thanks Pac, yes I do indeed know what kind of cruise I am on and it does require a covid test.
  4. Thanks for your suggestions. I called both of those places and it was a big NO. Haven't tried calling hotel yet.
  5. Does anyone know where to get rapid Covid tests in San Pedro, Ca. without going out of town? Please don't suggest doing the home test. I need to find something for a cruise in March. Can't believe they are so difficult to find. Thanks for any help. Judy from SW Florida
  6. Does anyone know where we can get a rapid covid test in San Pedro, Ca.? Have spent hours researching and calling and it just doesn't seem available without going out of town. Judy from SW Florida
  7. Staying at the Crowne Plaza in San Pedro a couple days before our cruise in March and need to find a facility to get our covid tests done. Any ideas or recomendations? Thanks for your input. Judy from SW Florida
  8. When the ship ports in Lahaina, do the shuttle boats drop you directly downtown?
  9. Are there any close (within walking distance) of getting off ship in Hawaii ports, that we can take advantage of without buying expensive tours? Are tours readily available when we get off the ship? Thanks for any ideas you can offer. Judy from SW Florida
  10. Even the Crown can't visit BoraBora. Too many people, actually, most of the Princess ships have too many people to visit BoraBora.
  11. Almost every Princess ship seems to have the same size step up into the bathroom which is not that high at all BUT I have a much harder time stepping down out of the bathroom. Yes, I am old and have mobility issues but I have to hold on to the side of the door to step down.
  12. Doesn't look like they will be on the March 17 Hawaii/South Pacific cruise on the Crown
  13. Months sounds like a long time not to have any details. I am really shocked that the buffet is so close to the IC. Makes no sense to me.
  14. What exactly is supposed to be located in the dome area anyway? For some reason I thought there were pools there.
  15. I have never been on a ship that didn't have food and drink near the pools and I'm sure they will also have them on the Sun. I think we will see those spots become visable in a little time.
  16. AMEN.......my thoughts exactly, but you said it better than I did. New experiences are why I cruise.
  17. Being a Gemini I love change. Looking forward to something different. I may love it and if I don't I can always go back to my old favorite, the Regal. Someone mentioned that it was a 3 story dining room. Did anyone else get that impression? Looking forward to experiencing something different and yet, some very familar places. Judy from SW Florida
  18. Cruise is in 90 days and I have had some bids in for over 2 weeks already. Paid in full. What is the earliest from your cruise start date, were you successful in winning a bid? Thanks for your info. Judy from SW Florida
  19. Has anyone experienced a bid being excepted 90 days out from cruise?
  20. Did you bid at the higher price or just wait until they came down? Did they send you another invitation to bid with lower prices?
  21. It is a 28 day to Hawaii/South Pacific. An obstructed oceanview to a reg. balcony
  22. Was just offered a bid option but not sure if it is a good figure to go from an Oceanview to a balcony for $1035. pp. We have 4 months until cruise and there are a ton of rooms available. First question: if I wait a month (or more) is there a chance that the price will come down? Also: has anyone got a room location that was really bad and your TA had success moving you to a better room? Thanks for any info. Judy from SW Florida
  23. How could you possibly see 700+ rooms available on your cruise? Every time I check my cruise I rarely see more than 25 total. What am I missing here? Thanks for the info. Judy from SW Florida Hurricane survivor
