  1. Just a bit off topic: our Personalizer for the Hawaii/South Pacific Enhanced Voyage no longer has the health tooll. Do you think they are changing the protocol? Thanks
  2. Has the price changed in Crown Grill recently?
  3. Did the price at Crown increase from the $25.? I thought it had gone up in price.
  4. Have they upgraded the showers on the Crown or are they still the old-style permanent shower head without a hose?
  5. I can give you plenty of bad from our last experience. The people in the cabin next to us insisted on keeping their sliding door open all night and the wind whistled (roared) thru the crack in the adjoining door and you couldn't even hear yourself talk. Also, it was blowing cold air thru the cracks right onto our bed and it was freezing. Hubby solved it a little bit by stuffing toilet paper in the cracks to cut down on the roar and breeze. Several requests to them by cabin steward to close their door at night made no difference. Never again. But, I guess they would be good if you have family traveling with you.
  6. Staying at the Embassy Suites in April and looking for a tour company that will pick up at hotel and would be appropriate for a somewhat mobility-challenged individual. Not in a wheel chair. Or maybe a HOHO bus easy to reach. Thanks
  7. Has anyone tried the restaurant in Crowne Plaza? Pricey? Worth it? Or better to walk up the street? Thanks.
  8. Brain freeze and dealing with the remains of Hurricane Ian has caused my critical thinking to be lacking. Sorry. Actually, you gave me a wonderful answer anyway. Thanks again
  9. Have you checked the list of Enhanced Voyages? That is the list we are trying to go by and calling Princess 10 times gets you 10 different answers. No one wants to fly to their port and discover they can't board because of misunderstood protocol.
  10. I am doing Hawaii/South Pacific. Are there no longer 72 hours within 3 days? And exactly when does the 3 days begin? If we leave on the 17th and get on board at noon, then that would only be 2 and a half days. Do you begin the 3 days on the 14th or 15th? Don't you think that is getting just a bit niot-picky? I need to get my test on the 14th since I am flying to LA on the 15th.
  11. I totally understand what you are saying but you missed the question I started this thread with. If there are 72 hours in 3 days, why can't you begin the 3 day count at 2pm on the 14th and the 3 day limit would end at 2pm the 17th, cruise day? 3 days is still 72 hours no matter how you look at it, right?
  12. Thank you so much for clearing that up. I have always been a bit concerned about taking the emed tests. What if you loose internet connection in the middle of the test? Do you have to start over with a new test?
  13. It's a new experience, something new to explore, a new adventure, what's not to love? Maybe you shouldn't go into it trying to compare it to past ships, etc but look at it as a brand new experience. I have been booked on this cruise and can hardly wait for something new.
  14. On the last bullet point it says, "Medically observed OR OR OR self-administered" Just what does OR mean then??
  15. And when 2 people on the same cruise get different responses?????????
  16. I check every day and every day it says it's too early to post protocol for that cruise and yet, someone else on same cruise seems to have different language. Confusing for sure.
  17. The language for getting a covid test 3 days prior to your cruise could also been seen as 72 hours, correct? There are several different opinions of this andf I say it's 72 hours prior. What say you? Judy from SW Florida
  18. But under the specific protocol for our cruise, it says not available yet. Check back later
  19. It does qive directions on taking a photo of test results along with passport for your self-administered test. Why the instructions if they arern't legal?
  20. And I keep telling you, for our Enhanced Voyage in March, it is NOT there
  21. I think you may have missed the point. Why should any of us pay for a test when Princess should clarify the wording so there are no doubts in anyones mind what we should do?
