  1. So I got Voom for using my cell phone for Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, etc. My phone will be on for this but do I need to contact my carrier and do anything about my service? Being in Mexico, I don't want to be charged international roaming charges so how do I avoid that? I used to just keep my phone off once we sailed and just used the internet in the library but now that we are allowed to use our phones, I'm a little confused as to how this will work.

  2. We leave in 2 weeks and I already have an excursion booked. I always wanted to go to Chichen Itza (bucket list) but it wasn't listed when I booked so I thought it wasn't offered so we booked Tulum Mayan Ruins. Well, yesterday, Chichen Itza is offered!! What?? It wasn't there 2 months ago. Soooo, for those that have been to either one or both...which do you recommend? I still have time to cancel Tulum and book CI and my friend is easy and will always say "whatever you want is fine" so what ya think? CI is $30 more but not an issue. Is it worth it? One better than the other? Any advice would be appreciated

  4. Please tell me that they still allow individuals to order multiple apps and entrees. Hopefully the Prime Rib was partially eaten when the picture was taken. Can't imagine a chef would let it out of the kitchen like that.

I thought the same thing. Prime Rib is my favorite but that piece looked like my dog had already started chewing on it.

  5. Just like the majority of what everyone has said, I do the Adobe Elements package for $10/mo that has Lightroom and Photoshop. Photoshop is still a bit confusing but I'm learning.

I actually did a photo session last week and did the about 95% of my editing in Lightroom. I really only used Photoshop to remove some things in the background of photos. The client was more than happy. I think Lightroom is great.

  6. She needs a credit card with a much higher limit. Depending on line, the ship may pre authorize as much as $100 per day for her on board expenses. Paying the gratuities as part of the up front costs helps, as does buying a drink package before boarding. She should NEVER use a debit card in a foreign port, or on board. Large amounts of cash in port is a bad idea.

Now I'm really confused. Everyone's saying that you do NOT need to have a credit card for onboard expenses. If you do cash, what I've been told is that you put a certain amount and if you hit that limit, you go to the desk and put more on your card. Not doing prepaid gratuities but giving cash to each at the end of cruise.
