Royal also has a transfer from Venice City Centre to Ravenna port. That's what we have booked. Not exactly sure where the pick up point is.

Simeon is amazing. We were on the Wonder TA and saw him multiple times and his show was always different. We have also seen him on other ships and he always puts out a unique show. My experience is that other comedians tend to do the same show or almost the same each night.

So our two 12 night b2b cruises on the Vision out of Barcelona are now no more. Would not at all be upset with the change in ship to Adventure, but she is only doing 4 and 5 night sailings from BCN which isn't even a close match for itinerary. Beyond disappointed.

So our two 12 night Med cruises on the Vision are cancelled and being replaced with 4 and 5 night sailings on the Adventure. While I don't mind the change in ship, itineraries are not even close. Huge disappointment.

It depends on the ship and type of sailing. We have been on smaller ships with longer itineraries and most venues are in use all day - to the point of having difficulty finding a quiet place to read or visit.

We clean everything in the cabin that we will be touching, remote control, door handles, coffee maker ,safe, etc, We never put underwear directly in drawers. We bring plastic bags for our underwear. We thoroughly check the bedding for bed bugs.
We clean everything with Lysol several times a day for every day on the cruise.
We have been doing this for 25 years.
In the restaurants we smell beverages served to us because at times the glass is not clean.
We never use fingers to press elevator buttons. We take Purell with us in the Casino and on shore excursions.
Wow!!

If Lift and Shifft won't work, you can simply transfer to a new cruise and keep the same reservation number; no additional money - keep same deposit. We transferred a med and a ta to two med cruises for September next year.

The crew works very hard.. day and night.. and are often away from their families for months at a time.. so they had some well deserved fun.. and it wasn't until 2am in the morning... it was a few hours.. not really a big deal imho..

I am surprised to hear that the room attendants are not in the room both morning and evening. Never experienced that in over a dozen RCI cruises.
Same! Just got off the Vision on January 5th in an inside room and had twice daily service as is their norm.

Love following along on live reviews. Is there a way to subscribe to a thread (like before on the app) without making a comment?

We just booked the Honolulu to Vancouver and Vancouver to Seward leg as an add on to our Sydney to Honolulu leg which we booked in May 2018.

Next experiment is buying Liquor on last night for our B2B. Probably Bailey's

We had luck with that a few times but I think it varies ship to ship. We bought it early evening on the last day so they just let us take it with us.

Wow! That's terrible.About 10 years ago, an overzealous TSA agent dumped my mothers pill organizer out on the dirty counter. He said he was checking for narcotics (was he an expert in pill identification, which ironically, as a pharmacist, I am!). Whether he was right or wrong, we always carry pills in their original vials just to avoid this kind of stress. As for my mom, she was able to get her prescriptions refilled at CVS when we got to the embarkation port, so she had a "clean" set to take. She was even able to get a vacation override for her insurance, so she only had to pay for her copay.Sent from my SM-A520W using Tapatalk

Thank you. Now I shall go back and reread Island Lady's posts and others to see if I can piece it all together. [emoji4]Significant other of Island Lady.Sent from my SM-A520W using Tapatalk

And yes please - no copying and pasting pics. Unless it's Rick on a horse or giraffe or some other unfortunate animal.

Not true. You can, but any cash you give to staff will be turned in to the pool and split. If you leave the auto charge on, they can keep the cash.Sent from my SM-A520W using Tapatalk

Our sailing on the Vision is affected. Does anyone know how much will be open and the availability of things to do on New Year's Day?

In May on the Jewel Med cruise Cafe Latte-tudes was open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. everyday. There was always a nice selection of quick breakfast items and open faced sandwiches and various sweet options for the remainder of the day and evening. We got food from there quite often; very good.

This is indeed what they served my "coffee" in when I was in the red zone on Oasis. Only thing it was actually full of hot water with a packet of instant coffee to make my own. Never understood why they couldn't have just as easily filled it with black coffee. I was only there for one day so it wasn't a big deal. If I had been there longer I would be asking for brewed coffee for sure.
