We are thinking of going on a cruise with Thomson in January 2015 and joining two cruises together, Mayan Treasures / Pride Of Panama and wonder if anyone knows if we require visas for this trip. I am Irish and my wife is English.

Thanks to all who posted and the great comments in those posts. We are now down to two cruises in January 2015, one on the Millennium and one on the Sapphire Princess. Decisions, Decisions, Decisons. :):):)

My wife and I are planning to take a cruise in the far east in January 2015 and have narrowed it down to two cruises, one on Celebrity Millennium and one on Sapphire Princess.

Has anyone been on the the Sapphire Princess?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My wife and I are considering a trip on board the Celebrity Millennium in January 2015 from Singapore to Bali and Malaysia. Has anyone been on this trip and have any suggestions as to this ship or itinerary.

We are considering going on a cruise on the Diamond Princess sailing from Singapore to Sydney with hotel stays in both ports and flying from London UK.

We are not really into dressing up so wonder if this ship requires it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My wife and I have always wanted to go to see the Amazon and all that wildlife, amongst other things, and on looking at how to get there it appears a cruise would be the most cost efficient option. I have looked at the C&M Marco Polo, which goes there for 42 days each January and it also visits some places we have never been to, but as its a small ship we have no idea what it would be like on the high seas. I am not a bad sailor but usually go on much bigger ships. Any help on this would be really appreciated.

I have just bought an FZ200, after trading in my FZ150, as the constant 2.8 was an attraction as well as the auto panoramic and of course the 1080p video is the same as on the FZ150 and is brilliant.

The weather here in London has been awful since I bought the camera so I have only managed a few photos of the back garden. We do have Grey Squirrels as well as Robins, Blackbirds and Blue Tits to name just a few of the wildlife I have been able to practice on. The results are quite encouraging so I am looking forward to our to weeks in the Caribbean in January as I love taking photos of wildlife and scenery.

All the pictures above are stunning and I have just ordered the FZ200 so shall have a little time to practice before we set off to the Caribbean with Thomson on Jan 13th. I currently use the FZ150 but the 2.8 lens will prove really good for wildlife shots, of which I hope to get many in the two weeks we will be there.
