The cruise line has pretty much relaxed their requirements and actually use the wording recommended. We are in a suite and they have said the dress code is smart casual at a bare minimum. Today is the first formal night and as you can imagine I have seen everything from tuxedos to not nice shorts. I don’t like to get super fancy so I don’t, I also plan on eating at the windjammer tonight. The next formal night I will be wearing something I could wear to work with fancy shoes and going to coastal kitchen. wear what you want and be respectful, there will always be those on the extremes.

On oasis now $79 per bottle. Was on anthem in April same.

We are finally, Covid caused a few reschedules, taking our Oasis cruise. We are traveling with a total of 8 people. Me, DH, DH best friend and his family: wife, teenage kids (a son and a daughter), and his parents. His mom is celebrating her 75 birthday. This is my husbands best friends family first cruise. The rest of us have cruises before. We are in a crown loft suite, my Royal up for a star loft suit is still pending….they are 3 Central Park rooms. The concierge emailed, I asked them to make dinner reservation for all 8 of us to celebrate her birthday. They did with question and then said they could make entertainment reservations for all 8 as well. That was suite!!!! (See what I did there). As I shared in a previous post, we used an online company for our Covid test. Everyone else used CVS.

Not spectra the other one maybe it’s not anthem but I swore it was. It’s long it might be about a family that lost their mom. No one really knows what it’s about. It’s long and the only color seems to be gray. It’s from the 20s. Spectra is ok because it’s short.

Simeon in my FB group said we need to have either the CLIA number or the lab number on our test results. This paper has neither. So we will see what happens Friday.

It’s done on teams via any device. We used a laptop that did not have teams in it, no need to download teams. When you schedule the appointment you enter either your passport number or your drivers license number and whatever you used to schedule the appointment is what they want to see at the appointment.

They may have fixed that. She asked what time zone we were in and the exact time it was where we were.

We just tested with rapidtestandtrace and it was super easy and you get your letter before the person hangs up. we used our free tests from the government and she monitored both my husband and myself at the same time. The tests were $20 each. Once you purchase you can then schedule. I scheduled one for each of us at the same time, we got two different proctors. One proctor came on early and told us she would do both of us and told the other proctor to log off when she logged on. You still need to schedule individual appointments so you can each get a letter. She walked us through everything. The whole thing is recorded. Took pictures of the negative test and sent out letter and waited confirmation of both before logging off. From start to finish is was about 30 min. or less.

I thought QR codes could be scanned by any camera with internet. Not talking about the pier just in general. I believe you if for no other reason, I don’t know.

I am sailing Friday. I would like to use the free FDA approved tests from the government and one of the online proctoring sites (rapid trace). Has anyone used this site or knows for a fact that Royal accepts them to get on the ship??? TIA
