The brunch doesn't happen anymore. As I recall,it was on the last sea day of the cruise. Now they have some kind of extended choices at the lunch buffet on that day. We didn't do that this year so I can't comment on what was available.

It won't be Chobani. There are individual servings of yogurt available but it is not one of the national brands.

It's a brand called Upstate Farms. They have plain and fruit flavours. Hard to say what the choice would be on overseas cruises. Another poster mentioned Greek yogurt near the muesli but it was in a bowl near the muesli and looked like kind of a creamy milk to me when I saw DH eat it.

Remember that thousands of people cruise and never write reviews here (or other places).

Cruising is good value for what it is and there is something for everybody to do and see and eat.

You won't be disappointed.

Please let us know. I agree the food quality dropped a lot since the last time. Our next trip is next Jan.21 Still lots of time to cancel if we wish. The itinerary of the Eclipse in the 14 day Caribbean trips is what we like, but we also like good food, too.

We were on Eclipse last month having done the same cruise 2 years earlier. Granted,we haven't done many cruises (this was on 10th),so I can't compare things from "back in the day". We had great service in the MDR and I thought the food was improved over 2 years ago. Thankfully,they got rid of that awful Top Chef menu.We ate in the OC 3 times.On the sea days,we tried the MDR for lunch. We loved the relaxed pace and the choices. More relaxed and lots of great choices. Myself, I was disappointed in the Murano. This was our 5th time there. They need to change up the menu a bit.

Food is a subjective thing. To me, while we can read all the posts here about people's opinions about the food,sometimes,you just need to "park" those opinions and go with an open mind. For sure you will never go hungry on a cruise.

Uber will run you about $45 from FLL to Miami.

Simple. Just call for an Uber and they will find you or call to double check.

They have smoked salmon and pickled herring. Just bear in mind that it's not the top of the line quality smoked salmon so if you are a maven of "lox", you may be disappointed. But really, even with cream cheese on those awful bagels they serve on X, it's still a treat.

Thankfully,X has a strict smoking policy. Please be respectful of your fellow passengers and only smoke in those designated areas.

We were on Eclipse last month. The on demand movies are $14.99 each. I didn't see anything that I couldn't view from my on demand here at home at half the price. And yes, you still get a glass of sparkling wine (or perhaps domestic champagne) on boarding.

Not likely that the salmon or any other fish is wild.

Just chalk the cost of the bag of washing as part of the travelling costs. In the scheme of things,it's a small price to pay if you need to use the service.Lots of other ways to cut costs.

The corkage fee doesn't apply if you open it yourself in the room. The minute you bring it into the MDR,there is the charge regardless of cork or screw top.

We have never cruised before and decided to book our first cruise a few months ago. We put the standard deposit on the Cruise at the time.

 

Our final payment is due next week and the reminders for final payment started coming in last week. At first I thought nothing of it, no big deal I will pay closer to the date. Then the phone call reminder, then the email reminder, then the daily email reminder, then today the sending me the invoice in the mail with the text here is the document you requested?

 

All these reminders seem to be having the reverse effect on me, for some reason now I want to hold off to the last second on final payment for spite and I am not normally like that but I have never seen a company like this before. Is this normal for all cruise lines or just Celebrity.

No doubt the reminders will stop when you make the final payment this week.

Your luggage probably won't arrive until at least after 3.

We were on Eclipse last month and I was pleased with the consistency and speed of the internet. I'm not an expert in the technicalities but to check emails and surf it was fine. I even watched 2 episodes of a show that I missed online with no problem.

As others have said,the discounting of B2B cruises is pretty limited.

I know this is a ridiculous question, but here it is....How do I go about getting my 90 minutes of free internet or my bag of clothes washed free of charge? And also, find out about the priority tender in port or the private shipboard departure lounge? Thanks for your help!!! I am looking forward to my Italy/Greece trip in May 2017 on Reflection for my 60th birthday!!!

Pretty much always the second night and the second last night which are sea days. The lobster will probably be the second one. A warm water lobster tail but you can order more than one.

We love the OC for dinner. No need to change and you can get in and out of dinner in a hurry. We enjoy the freshly prepared stir fries and this time,we enjoyed the freshly/custom made crepe for dessert.

On an 11 night cruise,the first chic night will be the second night of the cruise and the second last night of the cruise.

There were daily Catholic services on Eclipse.

We used Uber from the Homewood Suites Brickell to POM. It was $8.88 USD.

Hawskter, you mentioned Captain Leo was going on vacation after your cruise. Did he tell you how long? I have read so many reviews about how wonderful he is and was looking forward to meeting him. (Will be on April 2nd) I doubt he is only taking two weeks off.

Captain Leo is off until June but I didn't hear which ship he is returning to.

GRRR!!! Why do people think they can break the rules that are set out for the safety of the passengers? Who do they think they are!!!

We were sailing on X and booked on the Edge on the first day in our favourite place on the ship which is now E3. Good price and one perk for signing up onboard and one OBC. We chose the Western Caribbean one since we are tired of the Eastern choices. The 2019 cruise will be the last Caribbean one for a while.Time to settle down in one place in the cold weather.

Uber from FLL to POM should be about 50 dollars for UberX. Easy to use with no waiting.
