  1. Did we find out if there is an Arcade room with multiple games like on the Seascape or is it just these three items?
  2. We were on the ship in April. We love a morning walk! While there is no designated jogging path, we found we could walk a horseshoe (one end was blocked off I think for yacht club) on either deck 8 or 9 if I recall. Some parts were under a a slight overhang. It worked out pretty well for us to do that daily.
  3. Hi! we are on in February. Is there a proper arcade on this ship? I see there are a couple virtual reality rides/theater but is there an arcade like on the Seascape? It was great for the kids! thanks!
  4. We are booked for the Seashore this February but were getting a little nervous based on reviews. However, we were on the Seascape this past April and had the best time. Food was very good, shows were great and my kids loved the arcade/waterslides. We’d sailed Seaside prior to that. Glad to hear you have enjoyed the Seashore. We’ve done majority of the bigger lines including Disney and my kids really like MSC as they’ve started to get older. I think people either love or hate it haha.
  5. @APDMOM best review yet! Thanks again for answering our questions.
  6. @APDMOM do you recall what days some of the food and spa specials ran? All you can eat sushi (or something), discounted spa services: facials, massages? We are debating buying a service pre cruise but I recall they had in port specials. If we were to book let’s say a facial for our day in Nassau, do we book on the ship when we board to get the discount , day of when they run said special and hope for availability, or pre-cruise (but not sure how they’d honor the better price)?
  7. @APDMOM thank you for exploring and researching for my answers! I’m enjoying your review so much. Have the best time! Thanks again.
  8. @amygutman thank you so much for this info. I still have tons of masks left over so I’m happy to throw a box in our bags. Appreciate the tip!
  9. @APDMOM can’t thank you enough! The rep over the phone said our fun pass covers Arcade games. We shall see in a couple weeks! 🤞😅
  10. I checked the website but in fine print I did see it said we need to provide our original vaccination cards. Does anyone have recent info on what is needed still from a Covid standpoint? I was planning to bring our passports and vax cards…doesn’t look like we need a test result anymore.
  11. Thank you for sharing your experience! I posted this (below) the other day as we are on in two weeks with our kids. If you come across the answers, please share! We are Diamond status but opted for Fantastica Balcony this time. No drink or WiFi pkge in our rate unfortunately. Hoping we can at least have our own table of 4 at dinner to catch up with each other as it’s been a busy time back at home 😅 what do the arcade games consist of? I know there is the F1 simulator, VR rides but what about the actual arcade games? Are there only a few or a room full of them? We bought fun passes for the kids… also, it looks like online the only 3 specialty restaurants are Butcher’s Cut, sushi/hibachi and Hola. Can we use a Diamond perk dinner at the tappenyaki(hibachi) restaurant or only Butcher’s?

  13. Question! We sailed Seaside and loved it! Heading on Seascape next month. Does anyone bring their own Nalgene type water bottle to continuously refill throughout the week and take off the ship , say to the private island when it’s crowded and bar service is slow? We’ve always done that on other lines but does MSC allow it?
  14. I guess I could print out multiple of his bag tags? My tag with my name says classic. My kids don’t say anything on theirs as far as level. But I was told we could board with him in the priority line, etc which seems accurate since the four of us are in a cabin together. Just wondering what people have actually experienced!
  15. Our luggage tags state my husband has Diamond level. I'm still Classic. My kids don't have voyager memberships. (I should get on fixing that) I was told over the phone by MSC that we could use the priority area for Diamond members. Just want to make sure the remaining three members can tag along with my husband to board when we show up. I never know if the MSC phone reps are giving me the most updated/correct info! Will our luggage arrive around the same time as his to our cabin you think? Thanks
  16. Our son is celebrating his birthday on embarkation day. Whom do we contact to get our complimentary bday cake via our Diamond status, so we can celebrate him?
  17. Oh good to know. With the kids, we prefer early dinner too so I guess my time dining isn’t such an issue either. thanks for the feedback!
  18. When we booked last year, the deals seemed non existent compared to other times when we booked. For our April cruise, we’ve opted for a balcony, Fantastica experience on the Seascape this time around. My husband has Black Card/Diamond status so I was hoping embarking won’t be too bad and we could rely on some of those perks. We were Aurea on the Seaside years ago when drinks, spa, etc were included. Has anyone gone from Aurea to Fantastica? How was it? I know we’ll miss the Sun deck option (especially at spring break time) Figure we’ll budget our drinks since they aren’t included this time. We’ll have our kids with us and wanted to save some $! Hoping I haven’t made a mistake.
  19. I’m not sure if this will help you, but a few years ago we went on the seaside when it first started sailing in the US. Out of all the cruises we have done, and we have done a lot, my kids still talk about how much fun they had in the MSC kids club. It was definitely organized down to the hour with what activities were going on. I think that is because MSC often times will take the kids out of the club to do activities around the ship. One time, my husband and I were having drinks and happened to see our kids performing on a stage out by the pool ha ha. My kids also enjoyed the fact that the staff would take them to a roped off area for dinner versus bringing in dinner to the kids club. I think it made them feel a little more grown-up. We found the staff to be so much fun. They did tons of singing and dance performance stuff which was really cool. They also did a fun haunted house type thing one night. That was the cruise our kids were begging to go to the club everyday. Water park and kids club all day, every day! I think my kids prefer a more scheduled type of kids club activity versus a free-for-all with video games and no structure. MSC definitely has it planned down to the hour which as parents we really appreciated. We will be on the Seascape in April and my kids are now 10 and 11. I’ll be interested to see what they think!
  20. We are booked for spring break in the new Seascape. Our last MSC cruise was on the Seaside with its amazing water slides. From what I read and see in stock photos, there is a small slide in the waterpark playground area but I don’t see mention of other regular water slides? I only see info about water squirters/sprayers, adventure course. Can anyone please confirm? thanks!
