  1. My vote would be Silhouette. A much better Sunset Bar which has been expanded and love the Lawn Club for dinner. We have sailed M ships and they are nice but to us S class a bit better with offerings.

We sailed Silhouette through Greece, I hope your itinerary includes Santorini, A must see and be up early as you sail in, amazing watching the white buildings start to glow as the sun rises!

    Cheers!

We had fun.  The most 'uncomfortable' was on the way to the catamaran...our trek over the hills and through the woods. 🤣

    🍹

Did I miss the story on this? Was surprised to hear you had a “trek” to the catamaran. We had booked a private catamaran last month and it picked us up right outside the ship. It looked like the cruise sponsored catamaran excursions were just outside the ship also. 🤔

    Cheers!

So we have a little sticky situation…

As we know… all of us collect our cruise cards😅

    1. It’s the only way to document that you was sailing
    2. It’s a great way to keep up on your sailings

Well, on the b2b meeting last sailing the document officer said it would be delivered to your stateroom on the last sea day…..

(I don’t like this practice… we have running down the ship before to get our cards last minute)

Last night it was not on our door at 18.00 so Mr went to the concierge desk and they said it will arrive later tonight…..

After dinner, at 22.15 still no cards.

Mr was attending a meeting on zoom 04.30, no cards on the door.

At 07.15 he went downstairs to guest relations.

    “The cards should be delivered”

    🤯🤬😳🥵

We left our stateroom at 07.30 as requested…

We meet concierge Freazer in the staircase down to MDR on deck 4.

We told him our issue and that this is just a really bad situation and this happens every time they are “mailing them the last night”

We said we will go for breakfast and be back at you soon to check if they have received the cards….

In queue for breakfast we were standing behind another couple we knew was b2b.

So I carefully asked Sir: A very good morning! May I ask I you have received your cruise card from last week?

Yes yes 🙌🏻 they arrived on the door midway through this cruise!

    🫠🫥🫡🫠 Yes…..

    🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪

    Last breakfast onboard….

No more omelette or poached eggs unless I make them myself😝

    IMG_3458.thumb.jpeg.a0ead96d0ee0fb9e55a4e1753d5aeaaa.jpeg

Service went well and for a busy morning it went smoothly.

We went in a little search to Tuscan to find Freazer…

We asked in Tuscan and they said he would be back soon…

The other concierge showed up and collected numbers to take to the gangway.

Mr took a little roam around to locate him.

    No vision of him.

So when the concierge arrived back for a new group, we asked her.

    She had the cards!!! 🥳🥳🥳

Freazer had to walk out a wheelchair so he dropped off the cards to her💙😘

On the way to the gangway we passed Freazer👋🏻💙 Thank You🙌🏻

Then it was straight off and curb side in 5.minutes💙

This past winter we were told to go to guest services to retrieve our cards. Went smoothly with less hands touching them. Card collection is fun!

  4. Safe Travels home to the other side of the pond. Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences, thoughts and observations.

I understand Mr having to work so much. Before I retired I would do much work while cruising but I always looked at it as one of the best places to have an office and that the efforts put forth leads to us being able to have that office at sea. Much continued success for you and Mr!

Looking forward to the next adventure!

    Cheers! 🍸

    Good morning! St Lucia calling

We are downstairs in MDR waiting for our breakfast.

I said to Mr, no way Hose, I’m eating OV this morning….

I will have a proper breakfast before I go hiking 🥾

It was empty when we arrived 07.30 when they opened.

We have ordered our breakfast and waiting for it to arrive.

    We are doing this tour:

    I should be worried🫣🤔😳

When I took out the last tour tickets in the envelope…. It was tiny tiny letter folded:

    Saying it’s a 2-2.5h drive before we start walking AND it’s a winding road🤪🤪

    IMG_3175.thumb.jpeg.d29f78c27429ffe1477c2f5e5465f80d.jpeg

The map looks promising for that😝

We were in St Lucia last year and took a land tour, it was fantastic but it was a long drive and we were up to 250 curves in the road before we stopped counting! This year when we were in St Lucia we took a catamaran to the Pitons! Much better! 😂

You must have done this trek quite some time ago because the road has been greatly improved and is an easy drive now.  It is no longer a breach of your rental car contract to drive this beautiful road.   We have been over this road many times because we drive this road from Waikaloa on the Kona side just to go over to a smoothie shop called “what’s Shakin!  We also love the Botanical Gardens as well.  It can be an eerie drive in the fog.

Oh it was in the late 80's, was just a funny story for the times. It was very foggy the first time, but I have to say the road was in great shape for back then.  Glad we made the trip.

We've been there but last time they kept you far back from the Flows as things were quite active.   I've read that The Kaniel K Inouye Hawaii (AKS Saddle Road)  affords nice view but have restrictions of no stopping between Mile Marker 16 and  31.

WOW! I finally caught up on this adventure!  Can’t wait to follow along and live though you guys!

Just FYI, we were on the big Island and drove across Saddle Road one day, the weather was brutal, only got across because we followed a Sears service truck. I few days later we were on the Kona side again and wanted to get to Hilo. Stopped at a gas station for gas and asked the attendant how do you get to Saddle Road.

He looked at the car and asked is this a rental? I said yes…he asked if I read my rental agreement? NO! He responded that you are not covered if you have an accident on Saddle Road, your contract is void! 🙀. I looked at my DW and said I guess we may be buying a car. We went across and the drive was beautiful. Driving between the two Volcanos! Amazing!

    Safe Travels

We certainly hope to meet up again. I was just talking to the DW this morning about some Spring 2026 options. Looks like the Silhouette is heading the pack so far.

I'm heading back down to Florida this afternoon for a golf week + 3 days with my BIL and a mutual golfing friend.

    Enjoy your golf!

  9. @mac_tlc

Sorry for such a late posting, but we just got home Monday and a few golf dates during the week! 😂

Just wanted to say it was nice meeting you. Sorry we didn’t meet up again. The second cruise was as great as the first one! I have to agree with you on Fine Cut. For some reason that ships kitchen can’t get it together. The week prior on Ascent was great.

Safe future travels. Hope we meet again.

    Cheers!

Yes, if you go with the 1 device package per guest per day and upgrade both guest for a total of $15.98, plus a 20% gratuity, each guest would have premium for one device each.

You can switch devices and use multiple devices, only one connected at a time per guest/login account.

The two device package means that one guest/login account can have two devices logged in simultaneously.

@DaKahuna Thank you for explaining this! I always wondered why two deceives was more than one, if I upgraded myself and DW. It’s two devices for one person. 🤔

    Interesting to know. 🙄

    Cheers!
