@mdgarycan you check whether they are allowing people who bought the Plus Package when it was 40 or 50 to order drinks up to 15 without charging the difference (from 12).
Looking forward to your review.
I hope not as we were originally told we would be stuck with the $12 so we upgraded to the "new" plus.

Mighty expensive glasses of wine.
I don't agree with this at all. Gratuities are $18 per day. 3 glasses of wine @$15 a day and I am already ahead of the game. Not to mention having the internet available to me.

Does anyone know if you can bid again? After you have recieved one. Or is it a one time deal?
I edited our bid "up the bid" after I had placed initial bid. Good luck. I am thrilled with our upgrade.

I had to manually pay for my up-bid on Wed Feb 22. And yes, I booked directly though princess.
I had the option of declining the up-bid.
I believe the new rule went into effect either 2/24 or 2/25.

Has anyone NOT been able to find out the location of their upgraded cabin before accepting offer? From what I’ve read on here, it seems everyone was able to tell the exact cabin they were getting for the upgrade before accepting the upgrade.
There is no longer a matter of "accepting" it or not. If you submit a bid and it is accepted, your credit card will be charged immediately.

I assumed you book a roundtrip with EZ Air. If I was in your shoes, I would make sure the return wasn't cancelled also. Sometimes they figure if you did not make the original flight (and it was not rebooked for a later date) you won't need the return. This is not always the case but has happened to us in the past.

I await your posting eagerly! Have a great cruise.

Getting on really early doesn't usually buy you too much! Rooms probably won't be ready

Has anyone stayed in the mini suite cabin M106 on the Sky Princess (or any other forward facing cabin on Marina deck)? Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

New promotion starts tomorrow 8/16 and ends 8/31.
$50 deposits, up to 40% off launch fares on 2022 cruises and Up to 25% off launch fares for 2023 cruises.
What is a "launch" fare?

Could someone please tell me what the space shown on deck plan for Sky Princess is between cabins L101 and L102 (also the same on Marina Deck)? If you have stayed in either room, would you tell me the good/bad? Thanks in advance.

Again, thanks for updates. I expect initial application will take longer than renewal. We return from Quebec on Sep 30 this Fall and have a one-and-a-half-hour transit in Newark. Seems too short for Customs, TSA etc. so hoping Global Entry will work. The alternative is an extra four hour wait in Newark.
If your connection is anything like ours, 1 1/2 hours is certainly not long enough. If it takes your luggage as long to get you as ours did, it will, in fact, be impossible.

If I self tested and tested positive, I would no tell Princess, especially if it was towards the end of the cruise.
That is a scary thought and a primary reason COVID is continuing to spread!!

I am on the Regal now (and have been for the 2 prior weeks). I think “she” looks quite good but I am not one that goes around looking for a little rust here or there, a small stain on the carpet, or a smudge on the mirror that might not have been wiped off in the last 30 minutes. I find a crew that appears to be working very hard to make the passengers happy and think they have succeeded quite well in my opinion.
I have encountered quite a few of the workers to be from the Ukraine. When you consider most of them to still have family in the Ukraine (or family that has migrated to Poland), they still put a smile on their face and do everything in their power to make everyone’s cruise as pleasant as they humanly can. Of course, I see people being rude to the staff and complaining about things, but they are probably those that complain ALL THE TIME about something and the Good Lord himself could not make them happy.
If you get on the Regal and expect to have a great time, you will. However, if you get on and try to find things to complain about, I am sure you can find those things also. As is true of life, IT IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT! I can honestly say I have thoroughly enjoyed my first 23 days of being on the Regal.

When is its next cruise scheduled? We are due on board May 21st in Barcelona provided our Covid tests are negative. I wonder if dry dock might overrun.
We board in Rome for B2B2B2 21 day cruise next Saturday, so guess we will the first cruise after a 2 week drydock.

If I were in her shoes, I would go get a booster TODAY and not take any chances. Tomorrow might be too late.

You can get euros on board, but the fx rate is awful. Either buy some before you leave, or use an ATM at your first port.
And the crew will be happy with either € or $.
You are SO RIGHT about the exchange rate on the ship. I have not been on one lately but do remember right before cruising shut down for Covid, the rate was horrendous. If AT ALL possible, order them before you leave the US from your bank or get at an ATM once you arrive. I just ordered some from Bank of America yesterday for our 5/7 cruise.

Would someone that has/is currently sailing on the Regal Princess (Mediterranean) cruise, and left from the US be so kind as to tell me what paperwork you had to fill out before boarding the plane for ITALY? Thanks in advance.

Looking forward to hearing some good positive things. We'll be on the Ruby in August and just about all I've read so far has been everyone's sick, long lines, it's a rust bucket, food is horrible etc. I hope you are all able to enjoy your cruise.
For some reason, more people want to post the negative than the positive. I personally thank the Good Lord above that I am able to take a cruise and will enjoy it. It might not be perfect, but most people in the world would gladly change places with me while on the ship.

I could not agree with you more. Most of these employees work long hours, on their feet for many hours at a time, all the while, trying to please everyone they come in contact with. Most of us would certainly not do their job for what they make. I agree with you when you say "what is the matter with some people". Kindness goes a long way during these trying times.

Wow, thanks for the info. We have never sailed on princess but have booked sky princess in the autumn of next year. Looks like we shall cancel now even though it means loosing our deposit as it sounds as though they have gone the same way as P&O and cheapened everything. Oh well back to the expensive lines!!

I never leave home without mine. However, it might be on it's "last leg". I like the wind blowing in my face, but really like it for the noise. Helps drown out some of the noise rude passengers make when they allow their doors to slam shut or they decide to shout at someone down the hall. SO, if you have a brand that you travel with that is loud, I would really appreciate you sharing the brand name with me.
Electrical Outlets on Sky Princess Penthouse Suites
in Princess Cruises
Posted
Can someone please tell me if the aft facing Penthouse Suites on the Sky Princess have electrical outlets in the lamps on the nightstands? Or, where else are they located? I am trying to decide if I need to take extension cords with me as I sleep with a fan at night. Thanks in advance for your help.
