  1. .

It's kind like going to the adult only comedy and seeing a 12 year old in there with their parents (we all know it happens). It is downright awkward.

    Just some compromise' date=' that's all.[/quote']

I've been a comedy clubs with the comic stop the shower until then get the F out LoL!

  2. In April Carnival eliminated adult pools on several ships. They are now opened to families. With the casino you have a nice adult area. There are also adult cruises one could look into. Carnival won't bar or change hours on their lounges regarding kids.

Oh my God eliminated adult only pools that is terrible?!?

I will never step foot in the casino myself they are loud annoying and worst of all extremely smoky and smell like crap I wish they would remove them from the ships honestly or at least put them down deep in the bowels of the ship or nobody asked to see or smell them

  3. So what you're complaining about is a family using a space that is designated for use by families. Interesting. Let me ask you a question: What if these were adults? Would you expect the crew to intercede for you so you could get your turn playing the games?

I would love a more child-free cruising environment, but not because I think I deserve to kick families with children out of facilities that they paid for just as much I did. Your cruise ship provides the Serenity Adult-only Retreat. That's where your expectations would be reasonable.

Honestly the solution here is very simple and that is it's best for adults who want adult time to cruise while school is in session and that solves the problem

  4. What I mean about "curfew" is allowing kids in areas up until a certain time of day/night and then make it adult only.

Once on a Princess ship I accidentally straight to the upper deck not realizing that there was a nudist convention on board... that was a shock.... but I'm pretty sure that even that upper deck was not restricted for children. True story

  5. I really don't care if you find my comments helpful or not, just stating an obvious fact. There are plenty of other places in the world to visit.

I find most of the comments here very egoistic, no thoughts for all the poor people who have lost their homes and livelihoods.

  6. That's one of the reasons we wait until after the final payment date to book most cruises. We want to be the ones who paid half what other people paid. What we miss out on though is the ability to pick the prime cabins. We also sometimes miss going on a cruise because the prices go up as frequently as they go down. It's easier now that we're retired and are no longer constrained by DH's breaks as a professor at a community college.

I think it's a risky strategy and one that won't always work out well for you. Again most cruise lines have an early saver plan that guarantees in the lowest rate. The last four or five cruises that I've been on the prices have doubled in tripled in the time that I had bought my ticket

  7. Yeah I'm really over this crap. We're supposed to be doing in eastern Caribbean trip and now I'm hearing that it's likely will do a Western Caribbean trip. I've been to the west four times already including six months ago and I really do not care to go back I just want my money back

  8. I've seen that ship several times and I would love to be on it but every time I want to book it I just look at the price and I choke. It often cost three times more than comparable cruises on princess or carnival and to be honest I just can't see what could be so much better or different just because it's bigger. Quite sure it's nice but I'd rather have three cruises than one and trust me when I tell you I have no complaints about any cruise ships I've ever been on
