It's kind like going to the adult only comedy and seeing a 12 year old in there with their parents (we all know it happens). It is downright awkward.
Just some compromise' date=' that's all.[/quote']
I've been a comedy clubs with the comic stop the shower until then get the F out LoL!

Here is the post which demonstrates the utter lack of comprehension of the smoking issue and the utter lack of compassion or empathy for any different lifestyle choice.
Why don't you do me a favor and keep your lifestyle choice out of my lungs

In April Carnival eliminated adult pools on several ships. They are now opened to families. With the casino you have a nice adult area. There are also adult cruises one could look into. Carnival won't bar or change hours on their lounges regarding kids.
Oh my God eliminated adult only pools that is terrible?!?
I will never step foot in the casino myself they are loud annoying and worst of all extremely smoky and smell like crap I wish they would remove them from the ships honestly or at least put them down deep in the bowels of the ship or nobody asked to see or smell them

So what you're complaining about is a family using a space that is designated for use by families. Interesting. Let me ask you a question: What if these were adults? Would you expect the crew to intercede for you so you could get your turn playing the games?
I would love a more child-free cruising environment, but not because I think I deserve to kick families with children out of facilities that they paid for just as much I did. Your cruise ship provides the Serenity Adult-only Retreat. That's where your expectations would be reasonable.
Honestly the solution here is very simple and that is it's best for adults who want adult time to cruise while school is in session and that solves the problem

What I mean about "curfew" is allowing kids in areas up until a certain time of day/night and then make it adult only.
Once on a Princess ship I accidentally straight to the upper deck not realizing that there was a nudist convention on board... that was a shock.... but I'm pretty sure that even that upper deck was not restricted for children. True story

If only they could invent a little device that would produce nicotine vapor that you could hold your hand the operator of a batteries the world would be great

Other than the mooch, Who knew that communication could be so hard? I am getting information on four different official carnival websites that are completely contradict themselves and I am really over it

Any parent that allows their young kid to hang out at a pub on supervise needs to be smacked

And staying in Miami for a few days is beyond a bad idea it's borderline suicidal. This is a category five hurricane considered to be the strongest one to ever hit the United States in the history and you would be at Ground Zero that is not a viable option

Oh that kind of sucks because the airlines are not going to be feeling obligated to give you a refund if you don't take the deal

That's just sad I know that the cruise industry's been trying to figure out ways to make more money and I was sad when they started having the high-end steakhouse is that cost more but even they don't cost that much money I mean come on you're talking about barfood that's a total rip off

I really don't care if you find my comments helpful or not, just stating an obvious fact. There are plenty of other places in the world to visit.
I find most of the comments here very egoistic, no thoughts for all the poor people who have lost their homes and livelihoods.
Amen

That's one of the reasons we wait until after the final payment date to book most cruises. We want to be the ones who paid half what other people paid. What we miss out on though is the ability to pick the prime cabins. We also sometimes miss going on a cruise because the prices go up as frequently as they go down. It's easier now that we're retired and are no longer constrained by DH's breaks as a professor at a community college.
I think it's a risky strategy and one that won't always work out well for you. Again most cruise lines have an early saver plan that guarantees in the lowest rate. The last four or five cruises that I've been on the prices have doubled in tripled in the time that I had bought my ticket

This is absolutely my first and last attempt to cruise during hurricane season I only did it because the group like cruise with booked it. I should've gone with my gut

I always book the early saver fares which guarantees the lowest rate for this reason. Once this happened to me on the Carnival ship and we ended up with the $900 room credit that we could use on drinks and excursions

Yeah I'm really over this crap. We're supposed to be doing in eastern Caribbean trip and now I'm hearing that it's likely will do a Western Caribbean trip. I've been to the west four times already including six months ago and I really do not care to go back I just want my money back

I love that ship I noticed last night that it's only considered a four star out of five and that a lot of other ships that Carnival has has 4 1/2 and five stars that I've been on that I didn't think were nearly as nice as the miracle. Odd

When I win the lottery I plan on taking this ship of course I will have ballroom classes under my belt for six months or longer before I do everyone pray for me and cross your fingers because I'm buying a scratcher tonight

I've seen that ship several times and I would love to be on it but every time I want to book it I just look at the price and I choke. It often cost three times more than comparable cruises on princess or carnival and to be honest I just can't see what could be so much better or different just because it's bigger. Quite sure it's nice but I'd rather have three cruises than one and trust me when I tell you I have no complaints about any cruise ships I've ever been on

One tip I would give you is to allow the kids to run free and have fun and relax they are in good safe hands and there's lots for them to do and they will be happy to get a break from you just the same

The carnival miracle is a beautiful ship that leaves out of Long Beach for 15 days and we had the best cruise of our life on that trip

If NCL offered completely non-smoking cruises, would you book?
