We have done this four times and will do it again in June. 

I always use taxicode.com to book private vehicles, works out great and worth it with a family of 4 with lots of luggage. 

We just cruised in the YC with our 12 and 7 year old on Virtuosa. 

They had a great time, lots of kids onboard and several in the YC on the sailing we were on. 

We had a great time and already planning the next one.

We just got back from the Virtuosa in Europe, and yes I would say it was the same if not a little better.

Regarding the inattentive butler you mention in your video, we are just off MSC Seaside and experienced the same issues with our butler.  Have been on other sailings were the butler was at our beck and call.  I think it's more about the luck of the draw than location but I could be way off on that.  

 

From the background in your video it appears that the Virtuosa is in the same class as Meraviglia.  Is that correct?  I'm still learning the classes.  I wasn't aware they had YC rooms outside the YC complex but I like the YC spaces a little better than the Seaside class.

Yes correct, but it does have a few differences that you notice if you have sailed the Meraviglia. 

Nothing big though, she is a beauty.   The one thing that was WEIRD to me was the elevator system!

It was different, but so hard to explain.   

We absolutely love the UK especially London, this was our third time there in 12 months, we just cant get enough of it.

   We arrived in Southampton on Saturday morning for a Monday sailing.   We spent the weekend exploring beautiful Southampton. 

After the cruise we spent 3 days in London.    This was our third time in London in the last 12 months, we love it there and did a lot of new things this visit.

    I have started combing through our videos from our first Yacht Club experience onboard the beautiful MSC Virtuosa. 

We traveled from Orlando FL to the UK for this five day sailing in the Yacht Club.   The first first video we filmed onboard as a quick recap of our initial experience as we boarded and some other details onboard. 

I will post our day one video once it is done in the next few days, and of course if anyone has any questions please let me know as I am always happy to help and share my thoughts.

After I saw your post yesterday I paid it.  Didn't want to risk getting to Southampton next Sat and getting a cancellation email out of the blue two days before the cruise.   

I am much less stressed:)

MSC would not do anything. They did remove the DSC to compensate me for the OBC. So they screwed the crew over.  90 days later never got the overcharge back so did a credit card dispute.

 Stay on top of it.  Ask the TA to have MSC send you a current confirmation to be safe. You are not sailing with MSC united states', keep that in mind.

UGGGGGH this is exactly what I am afraid of and this alone right here makes me want to pay it and fight it later. 

We are going to Europe next week and they keep telling him we are paid in full, but I have this fear of this happening.   We are in the YC in a duplex and the moment that cancels (If it does) it will go to a bid and the YC is full.

Hello All, 

    We are going on the May 29th sailing on the Virtuoso and I have been pain in full since March. 

Today when I logged into the website I noticed the COMPLETE PAYMENT was there and it shows I owe 837.41 which there is NO way since I made final payment. 

I called my TA right away and he called and confirmed with them we are PAID in full and they sent him an invoice showing show. 

I also called and they helped me and also confirmed they show me paid in full. 

I dont want to show up to the pier in Southampton on the 29th and have any issues at all, so I am wondering has anyone seen this before? 

It's driving me crazy.

We are checked in and I have all the boarding documents and everything else seems normal on the site, am I a victim on the dreaded MSC IT? 

Can't wait to board May 29th, thank you for doing this.

Yes I was, but everything seems to be working fine now. 

I went into the same panic last night, everything is back to normal this morning. 

Weird, it is still listed on their site as a Norway cruise.   We were looking to book that sailing so I will keep my eye on it. 

If you are still looking we used Normandy Heritage Tours in June and it was AMAZING. 

Christophe is awesome and we did so much in such a short period of time.  We were on the Anthem and we did a 8 hour tour with him and then back to the ship.

Standard EURO adaptor I got on amazon for trips to Europe.   They come in handy on every cruise:)

sooooo many pool towels, it was never an issue unless one of the kids decided to run in without drying off:)

The heat stayed on, but the bubbles are controlled by the person in it.

   We had this descent size cabin on the Nov 17th sailing, and I wanted to share it with you. 

We enjoyed the cabin, and really enjoyed the hot tub on the balcony.   Any questions at all please let me know:)

I think you should be good to go, I see lots of those cabins are still open. 

I see you are on the Meraviglia, we are on the same sailing, lots of cabins I see open. 

If you have a pending charge that's a good sign, just not sure why you dont see a cabin change.   Did you try the app and the website?  Log out all the way and back in? 

You have to reserve specific times once onboard. 

We are on the same sailing as you and booked the three package, will book our times right when we get onboard.   You can go to the seafood restaurant right on the esplanade and book them.
