  1. Is it expensive to do this? We planned to do some site seeing after we got off our ship as we have a late flight but I didn't think about the logistics of carrying our luggage around with us 😅

It is free to leave your luggage. It is in a locked room. There is a tip jar on the counter. You are not required to eat there.

  2. Barrachina restaurant will hold your luggage from 9-5. The service is free but there is a tip jar on the counter. OSJ is a relatively small area. My DD and I saw a lot in a half day.

  3. I got the card 3 years ago to go on a cruise so I didn't have to take my BC and marriage license, ect. I ended up getting a passport this year because we wanted to spend a week in the Bahamas. My advice is just get the passport. It's good for 10 years.

  4. I have cruised twice. I enjoyed it but I prefer a land vacation. I don't like being "stuck" on ship on sea days. It's kind of like cabin fever for me, there is only so much to do and quite frankly my family and I get a little bored. I also don't like being on a set schedule. On a land vacation I can spend as much time as I like, doing whatever I like and I don't have to hurry back to the ship.

    Would I cruise again? Yes.

  5. We're going with Ellis on 2/4 upon recommendations so here's to hoping! We're going with him pre-cruise on the Mango Daiquiri tour. I'll keep you updated

You will love it! My daughter and I did that 2 years ago and had a wonderful time!!

  6. I love my Keens. I have had them 6 years or so, I have worn them all over the caribbean and Puerto Rico. I have worn them to work every day in the summer because they have closed toes. They still look decent after all this time. Well worth the money. Also, I have worn them wet or dry and never had a blister or hurting feet. I prefer the Whisper style.

  7. El Morro and San Cristobal are in Old San Juan. print or pick up a map and enjoy. It's a fairly small area and easily walkable. My daughter and I walked around from 11-5 roughly and saw quite a bit. Check out puertoricodaytrips.com for some walking tour ideas. There are 4 separate links.

  8. We chose to drop off our luggage at Barrachina restaurant for a few hours while we walked around OSJ and walked through the forts. Then we grabbed a taxi, picked up our luggage and went to the airport.
