Actually it does.  Travel agencies have the option of opting out and there is one large Big Box agent who opted out.  Even though it is run by a 3rd party those guests will not get the offer nor can they log in direct.

so if I got the Royal Up email I can go ahead and bid?

How was the process getting off the ship?  I'm just wondering how much time we need to allow from getting in the line to disembark, to walking out of the terminal?  I remember in the past it took forever to go through customs etc.  We'll be on a Thanksgiving cruise so I assume it will be more crowded.

see my post in the link below…debarkation was very easy

  3. You’re not the only one feeling anxious. I was feeling super anxious 2 weeks ago when I had to get tested. CVS cancelled my rapid test appointment 2 days beforehand but luckily I found a private lab near me that did the antigen tests for $129 and got the results back within an hour. If you have an FSA/HSA card you can use that money to pay for the tests.

My backup plan was to get tested at MIA but I really wanted to get tested before I flew down.

The cruise will be well worth it. 😀

  4. I had Room 6271 on the Horizon last week. The Thrill Theater was not open on my cruise but I did not hear any noise from the IMAX. The room location was good in the sense it was close to the elevators.

There were a few things I did not like about the room location. I did not like looking down at the awning for the Lanai which was the deck below us. Also, one of the outdoor smoking areas is on Deck 5 so we could smell smoke occasionally while we were on our balcony.

I bought protective bags very similar to this once bringing bottles of beer back from Europe and they worked great!  Nothing was broken. I did wrap them in clothes as well.

Imax included or at an extra charge?

    Thanks.

It’s 12.95/person for the feature films (children/seniors are cheaper).

They also show shorter nature films/documentaries that are cheaper, I don’t remember the exact price…I think around $6?

Thank you so much redsox1584! By chance did you catch the thrill theatre?

The thrill theater was not open on my cruise.  I am not 100% certain why, but I did hear someone say it was because of covid and the theater is quite small...not sure if that is true or not.

I saw Black Widow in the IMAX and had a great time.

Does anyone know what movies are showing at the Horizon IMAX in October? Please and thank you!

I was just on the Horizon last week and they were showing Black Widow and Jungle Cruise. They also started showing Dear Evan Hansen last Friday when it came out in theaters so I’m assuming that would be available because it’s new.

For those who have sailed recently, are there still complimentary (or paid ) large bottles of water in the cabins?  I usually order a few in addition to that, but want to make sure I don't get too many though the Fun Shops before we board.

How do you get the free bottles that come as a VIFP perk now?

    Any help is appreciated.

As stated above you can go to any bar to get the VIFP water. If you preorder any water through the Fun Shops it will be in your cabin waiting for you. I was just on the Horizon and ordered 2 packages of the smaller bottles and they were in my cabin on embarkation day.

  10. I just got off the Horizon this morning. Same itinerary as you just mentioned.

They started the debarkation for self-assist a few minutes before 7:30. They call you by muster station, starting with A.

I was in muster station B and we were off the ship by 7:45. Debarkation was super easy - you don’t even have to talk to a customs agent or show your passport, unless you don’t pass the facial recognition. I just stood in front of the camera and then a green light went on and the port staff said I was free to go.

We were in an Uber on our way to MIA by 8:00 am and at the airport a little before 8:30. I would have tried to switch to an earlier flight but there weren’t any available on my airline. Of course it may not always be this smooth but I wanted to share my experience.

I can tell you about the one on the Horizon as this is the last night of my cruise. The IMAX theater is located on Deck 6 forward. It was $12 a person for the feature length movies. This past week, they were showing Black Widow, Jungle Cruise & Dear Evan Hansen (which I believe came out this weekend). They also had a variety of nature movies that cost less (I don’t remember exactly how much).

There was a concession stand with soda/beer and snacks but no popcorn as stated above.

There are kiosks in front of the theater in which you can see which movies will be playing on which days and times and purchase tickets.

I saw Black Widow and I had a great time.

Can’t edit this but it is 12.95 a person not 12

  13. You will be gold. This just happened to me I was turning gold at some point during the cruise I am on now currently and I got a gold sail & sign card. As stated above, you can go to any bar for your free bottle of water. Go to the Pixels photo gallery to get your ship pin.

I was very excited to get a gold card lol
