I really only inquired for my scheduled sailing on 8/7.  they are very responsive in chat whether you are booked or just inquiring.

I just went to the online chat to inquire about the 9/18 sailing, and all they said was the following: Controlled Guest Capacity We will initially control the guest capacity onboard each ship to provide even more space per guest. We have also increased spacing in dining and entertainment venues and other onboard spaces

They couldn't give me a definitive answer about my sailing and that the information would be provided in the future, in case anyone else is wondering

I did get into an online chat with an agent and she said that once the merge from the Bliss to Encore is complete, everyone should receive new updated confirmations and then I can request the room change. I guess I should have just waited until next week to call like I said I would lol.

just letting everyone know that you can’t make any changes to your reservation until the merge is completed

Just an update - I went into an online chat with NCL and they were able to change my room no problem.  They are able to access the Bliss/Encore reservations now 🙂

I just received an updated confirmation by e-mail.

I tried searching this and I thought someone here might already know.

We just got notified NCL Bliss canceling the October 24th Pacific coast cruise out of Vancouver.  We expected this since Canada is closed to cruise ships.  We were hoping NCL would just shift the departure port over to Seattle and keep a similar itinerary.  Unfortunately they canceled it outright and there appears to be news of a rerouting.   We'd really like to rebook on whatever Bliss is doing that week.   If you've never done a Pacific coast cruise, they are great itineraries.  The ports, being all in America, are easy and low stress.

they announced today that Bliss will be doing a Mexican Riviera cruise 10/24 from Los Angeles

Anyone else getting a bit concerned that NCL appears to be behind the other cruise lines in terms of preparation as well as submitting their plans to the CDC?  I checked the CDC color coding system, and NCL appears way behind, you would think they would have something submitted. I heard they got the Alaska port deals finalized, but they haven't submitted to CDC.  I saw Royal & CCL have made announcements of more upcoming cruises.  It's extra concerning as we are on that Aug 7th cruise, and I need to make an airline ticket decision soon. (WHO knows, maybe my home state of FL will mess it all up anyway 😀)

They just made some announcements of cruises today

This is confusing cause I booked Aug 28 on Encore Friday, then called back made changes a few hours later, then Saturday made dining reservations no problem.  Was it just the 1st sailing that was "frozen"?

I think it’s anyone that had booked the Bliss and then got switched to the Encore that is frozen. My sailing is not until September and I was told on Friday I couldn’t make any changes and to try again next week.

I booked when it was still the Bliss then it got changed to Encore a few days later.

I think I will wait till next week to call them...I’m sure they are dealing with enough right now with all the pricing and invoice errors.

My understanding of NCL's plan is to start a ship at 60% capacity and then every week or two increase the capacity by 10%.  This means, in theory, barring any mishaps, each ship should reach full capacity within two months of operating.  No one has a crystal ball and can definitively tell you how it all will happen.  I mean who on March 2020 thought there would still be a cruising ban in place come June 2021 in the US?

would this apply for the 2021 Alaska cruises?

I will wait to see if I get a corrected invoice after seeing all these comments.

I received an invoice this morning and it was around $400 more than it should be. The prepaid gratuities also show up as $46.73 per person a day. 🤪

They also changed my room (same category and deck but different location)..My original room was close to the elevators and the new room is all the way forward at the end.

I never received a confirmation when I booked the cruise on Monday night and had been trying to get one. I also never received notification of the ship changing either.

i just logged into my NCL account and the payment due is correct. The service charges are showing the $15.50 a day as well.

Is it possible to request a room change? My new room is all the way forward and my old room was very convenient to the elevators

Thanks for all the good info.  I haven't received the notification from NCL yet, but our cruise is in October.  I just did a side by side comparison of the deck plans for the decks we're booked on and the rooms appear to be identical.  Besides being the newest ship, it looks like we'll also benefit from having a show other than the Jersey Boys.  That's a good show, but we've already seen it on two different cruises.

Mine is at the end of September, have not heard anything from NCL yet

I am missing 3 confirmations in the last week.  One is for the final payment we made for the Bliss 9/18 departure, and the other 2 are dinner reservation confirmations for 9/11 and 9/18 on the Bliss.  Someone whom I trust told me that he has been told that the Bliss confirmations are not being sent out (at least automatically) because there will be an announcement in the next few days of replacing the Bliss with the Encore.   Nothing official yet, but that is what he has been told.

There is a thread about the Encore replacing the Bliss...explains why I didn’t get my confirmation!

Well, this is all starting to make sense.  Those like myself who booked the Bliss last week haven't been automatically receiving the reservation confirmations.  I contacted an online rep and she tried to email it twice and still nothing came through.  They must be blocking Bliss emails until things are official.

Now I see a picture of the Encore on my reservation but it lists the Bliss LOL

I booked the Bliss on Monday night and asked twice for the confirmation and never received it. Then the rep said they were experiencing a delay and to wait 24 hours...now I see why

Attempted to get an email confirmation and was told they're not sending them yet because the itinerary is still "actionable." I guess the only thing I know for sure is the cruise will be on the Bliss, unless it's cancelled.

I was on their online chat about 20 minutes ago and they said they would send me a confirmation.  I have not received it yet.  I did confirm all of my contact information with them.  It is on the Bliss in September so maybe they're still trying to finalize everything
