It depends on what rate the TA is booking you under. If they are booking you into a group rate those taxes are locked in.

What others paid will be irrelevant as it will vary as it is based on price and age. A $2000 cruise will cost a lot less for insurance than a $5000 cruise

Yes, up to 24 hours printer to sailing you can make a change. Thst 24 hours is a guide, it depends on when the manifest gets submitted which could be a bit before that. .

There is no need to send Royal any documentation to change a name on the booking. Complete name changes can be done up to 24 hours until sail date (or prior to the manifest being submitted). The only criteria is that one if the original names remains on the booking.

It is for RCI, not group and it is project Discovery which is the replacement for Vision and Radiance class. Project Dscovery will be the about the size of Celebrity"s edge class or Voyager class.

Yes you can do that. Don't forget that you have 30 days to transfer to a TA and it can't be past final payment or paid in full. Group rates get recalled at 120 days prior to sailing. Getting the group rate is not automatic, the TA needs to move it into the group and then call and get the group rate applied. If this was a book on board at the reduced deposit you will have to top up your deposit to the full deposit amount as groups does not accept the lower next cruise deposit.

Well that was a bust couple of hours. Now to wait to see what is happening with group space, which is showing as unavailable for the first 2 months of sailings.
