Only on board. You cannot apply it to cruise planner purchases. Some have had success paying for on on the cruise planner and then using the coupon on bard while for others they cancel the booking made once on bo\ard and recharge you at the on board prices. -
Easy to tell where to punch the hole by holding the card up to a strong light to see the wire and chip.

FCC's are tied to the name on the FCC that must match the passenger name unless it us one of yhe FCC's that can be transferred. What you suggested is not possible. -

On Celebrity everyone in the cabin gets the same status of the highest person regardless of whether they are related or not...it's not uncommon and in fact Roysls is stricter than some programs. -

Royal did just fine without a Chief Meteorologist until 2016, I am sure they will do just fine without one now.

Yes avl is available you pick the room out of the available inventory. It this case you get to choose which room out of 4 available. For the gty (guarantee rooms royal will assign a room sometime up to the day of sailing.
