Sarah said this is training for our Christmas cruise. 4 Diamond drinks for her first full cruise over 21 were not enough so she had to have her package so I will have her "buy" me drinks on her vouchers

The young one kept up with tje old guy for the most part but the difference was the next day....rookies. Thanks for another new drink will add that to tonight's list.

So the problem with keeping up to date on posting the different drinks us that at some point in time the drinks win. We had a great start to the first day and we kept pretty good track. Unfortunately neither Sarah or I remember going back to our room and thr next day the first drink wasn't happening until 5pm. Here's our scorecard from day 1. Topped out at 15 or so and I drank a couple of Sarahs that she didn't like. work kind of got in tje way for a bit and we did get sn invite to Coastal Kitchen last night for dinner...nice meal and much calmer than the MDR. lazy day today in Cozumel, off the ship to buy a silver chain, a 1 litter bottle of Vanilla as a consolation prize for Vikki and SarH bought 2 bottles of Vodka. Because everyone on board has the drink package they just let us carry the booze on board. For the Flowriders out there...golden unicorn sailing...never more than 2 or 3 riders and sometimes no one is there. Apologies to all whose posts I've missed.

I broke my rule about not having the same drink twice and this was the one I broke it with.

I already asked my account manager if they had to ho looking for a Captain with a Southern accent. Pretty different hearing him refer to guests as Y'all

#5 was a Mai Tai. Have to modify on yhe go today with Texas liquor laws. Starting to pace ourselves, chilling in one of those round bed things on deck.

It was so quick I literally had no time gor pictures. Matt from thr blog and Danny from you tube are on, they wi.probay have good reviews.

Pretty easy. Like Miami. We arrived on s shuttle do we had a bit further to walk but it looked like uou bould be dropped off close to the doors. They were actually taking luggage right where we were dropped off. Didn't seem far at all.

Good news. They paid duty on Kraken and lots of others. Mimosa Pain Killer Kraken Colada Killer lunch and we've only been on board an hour and a half.

That sucks. Hope symptoms stay mild.

8:50 and on the shuttle. Looks like we will arrive right around 10:30. Kraken Colada for brunch, perfect way to start the cruise.

The biggest downfall to that for many is that with group rates being lower and refundable they don't save anything by booking on board. If they booked on board and then moved into the group theyy have to up their deposit to get the lower group rate and their booking still stays non refundable and then they don't benefit from a lower deposit. Plus the group offers obc so there isn't any real advantage for those booking into groups, and if they are booking an inside or Oceanview or not using a balcony discount they are actually losing some extra early booking obc by not booking directly into the group. For suites that are non refundable to start the next cruise certs are good.

You can't really compare them ship to ship. In 3 to 6 months as crew and chefs change your experience could be completely different on the same ship.

Good thing Vikki doesn't read cc. This would bring tears to her eyes as she is at home working. My daughter Sarah is along for the ride. Vikki is a teacher and would never get 4 days off approved.
