  3. Same bed for the 3rd and 4th guest regardless of the room. I know my kids would not be happy sleeping on the pull out sofa.
  4. Yes, the $200 is in addition to the taxes and fees and would be refunded as OBC if they sail. If they cancel within 7 days or no show the taxes and fees are refunded and the $200 is kept by Royal
  5. What that e mail alludes to but doesn't make perfect;y clear is that this new policy only applies to guests who have previously cancelled last minute or have been a no show. for Guests that have sailed on all of their free cruises this new policy does not apply.
  6. 2021 had entirely different policies and were indeed very flexible. Much different in today's environment.
  7. Might be added later, might be sold out although they usually list them and just put sold out under it. If you book I suggest doing the "pilots Choice" two glacier stop. When we did it we we the only helicopter tour that got off the ground as the pilot was able to adjust his route around the rain and fog. The other tours all were cancelled as weather interfered.

  9. FYI There was a change today to the comp program where select members who have no showed for a comp cruise or cancelled last minute will now be required to pay a $200 deposit that will be refunded as OBC provided they show or cancel at least 7 days prior to the sailing.
  10. Not sure what vying are seeing but quads are 1V and 3V while doubles are 2V and 4V. Definitely different categories. You can't go by the description, it has to be by the specific category

  12. No. Bookings must be transferred within 30 days from creation and even if it were within 30 days you could only transfer those to a UK agent as you booked through the UK website.
  13. We were on Ovation. Might be class specific, not really sure, I just know ours opened.
  14. I have had balconies on either side of a fire barrier and had no issues in getting the door opened. Those doors on the balcony would not act nearly the same as the interior fire barrier as they do not seal tight
  15. It is that the area around labadee has remained stable through all of this. It was only cancelled because of public perception which at the outstart was fine as there were a lot of unknowns if it would spread. Those fears have lessened.
  16. I have mixed feelings on this. On one hand it is nice to see Royal be compassionate in certain situations but on the other hand this is what insurance is designed for, if you choose to save a few $ by not purchasing the insurance then there should be consequences. On the other hand, when Royal offers these compassionate solutions it's an added cost that ultimately gets passed on to everyone. Also it is no one person making the decisions so 2 people in similar situations could receive completely different responses thusly creating an inequity in how guests are treated.

  18. Just my 2 cents but I'm thinking that because of the fact there have been no announcements extending the shutdown that you will see visits resume at the end of September. One of Royals old CD's has posted a few things lately that tend to support Royals return.
  19. Aug 25, 1 and 8th are all sold out. They are still listed on cruising power (Royals site for travel agents) nothing out of the ordinary.
  20. Looks like your TA may have made an error 😲. The 125% is applicable to the group rates. It is the 150% for everyone on those select sailings that it is not applicable with the group rates.. Royal certainly made this new program confusing.
  21. Try using a computer as opposed to the ipad. There are some things that just aren't compatable
  22. Could be ip to 7pm the day of sailing. No set time frame.
  23. If the insurance is through Royal it will not cover the deposit.
