  1. Correct. If you get the dining package you get 40% off bottles under $100 and 20% off bottles over $100. Each adult 21 or older may also bring one bottle on board at embarkation
  2. Yes, it was just a change in terminology but in practice nothing at all changed
  3. It's too late now but in the future if you ever want to change your amenity just have the LA do it on board. They can't change your current sailing but they can easily change your preference for future sailings
  4. It was our first cruise with the kids who were 8 and 10. A seven night NYE sailing out of San Juan where flights were more than the cruise and we thought 4 in a room would be fine. We were in St Kitts walking on the beach and my daughter out of nowhere turned to me and said "Daddy, we should make this our usual beach". We've been cruising twice a year since then.
  5. I may have had bad luck but I have found on Oasis class ships that if I head right to hibachi the fire door is closed and they don't open until after 11 while we are usually among the first on board prior to 11.
  6. The amount varies based on the length of the cruise. They booked a longer cruise and the shareholders is $250
  7. Either. What ever does not get used pre cruise gets transferred to your on board account
  8. They put a brand new ship doing 3 and 4 day cruises. I can't see a better way of promoting a brand new class called discovery designed to do ports that other ships can't get to than by sending her on a world cruise. Plus, having a new ship do yje world cruise will drive demand not only for the full voyage but also the segments.
  9. I'll go out on a limb and say that it will be on the first Discovery class ship.
  10. Yes it is available without restrictions for the Sky class JS. Only the Sea class JS have restrictions.
  11. Everything other than Hibachi can be booked ant any of the restaurants. Hibachi can only be booked at Hibachi
  12. It's a pullman. Google deck plans from 10 years ago and pull up old sites as Royal used to list the different bedding configurations. Something like this would not change.
  13. Put it this way, if you ever get a balcony discount on a suite you are 99% sure that you are paying too much as there will be a promo along very soon that will offer a better overall rate
  14. From your past posts I gather you mainly book suites. Because nearly every promotion thst Royal offers either has an instant savings or OBC thst for suites is greater than the balcony discount you would not get the balcony discount as they are not combinable.
  15. $225 outside of 6 months and $200 inside of 6 months. (6-9 day sailings) less for short cruise, more for longer cruises In groups you get the full value applied On website bookings you may not get any of it or not get the full amount as it depends on the promo they are running and whether it is combinable. Deduct $25 for sailings within 6 months
  16. Nearly every 3 and 4 day itinerary stops at both. We have a 6 day Oasis that stops at Labadee, CocoCay and Nassau.
  17. I have never heard of cruise line insurance being transferred to different sailings. Other policies yes, but not cruise line insurance
  18. Going by your signature you are either the 8 day Mar 7 (not school break in Ontario) or the 6 day on March 15th (this is spring break..very late this year) There are no XB or XN guarantees for either sailing. There is a 4D GTY or a 2I Boardwalk GTY available for both sailing This is the 15th This is the 7th and based on the prices you mentioned it would be a Boardwalk balciny you are looking at
  19. You cannot tell in most cases via the website but balcony just means balcony and in most cases it will be an XN which is a neighbourhood balcony
  20. For North American bookings the deposits and payments go direct to Royal and never through a third party unless you are paying the travel agency with cash.
