  1. I just stay under my calories and sodium and try to keep under on fat. I always go over on sugar and protein though. Oh well, at least I am staying on the diet and exercising daily. :D

That's what I keep an eye on as well - calories and sodium. Calories aren't a huge issue but sodium can be sometimes!

What does everyone do for exercise? I'm on week 6 of Insanity. I'm beginning to hate Shaun T.

  2. I love MyFitnessPal. I'm on a 160 day streak of log-ins!

Quick question. Does anyone else find the "sugar" impossible? I'm over ever day and it is only ever because I eat quite a lot of fruit and drink home made fruit juices. I had an orange for breakfast and without putting anything else in for that day it put me over my daily sugar. So weird.

YES! I'm over everyday, usually by lunch time. I cannot stay under the sugar goal, it's impossible!

  3. This a little off topic but I will tell you what happened. Christmas Eve' date=' were going to dinner at Casa Botin but had lost our way. I guess the guys (2) noticed that and we became a target. One guy came up behind my husband and pulled him backward by slipping a leather strap around his throat and pulling him over the hood of a parked car. The 2nd guy came after my beautiful, small Gucci bag that I was carrying cross-body. I struggled with him for a bit and then realized that what was in my purse was not worth getting hurt for. I released my grip a bit and the next thing I knew I had only a strap left. Lost my passport, money, house keys, prescription glasses and more. It may sound stupid to have been carrying those things but we were airline crew members and were only there for the night. My DH will not go with me anywhere now if I'm carrying a designer bag. Expensive lesson although our homeowner's policy covered our loses. There is a lot more to the story but too long to post here. Unfortunately, I still love designer bags. The lesson is don't get lost and don't carry designer bags!:-(

Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app[/quote']

OMG! That's so scary! It's terrible that happened to you but at least you and DH came out of it un-harmed.

  4. Gambee wow! I felt like I was cruising with you. Everything is so detailed and you took some fantastic pictures & video. I've been to Bermuda twice and am now dying to go back thanks to your review! I can't wait to see the ship for myself but I still have 4 1/2 months to go. Special thanks for the room tour. We are booked in a deck 12 aft cabin so it was nice to see exactly what we are getting and that nice big balcony! With loungers! ;) Wonderful review.

  5. Welcome! I love the whole Fashion and Beauty forum. Most everyone plays nice. You get to see great cruise clothing and get help with all your clothing/make-up/jewelry/accessories questions.

Thanks! I'm fairly new to the boards and lurking mostly. I came across this thread and was like 'Yay! People who understand me!' :p

  6. I think I love this thread. We are not cruising until October but I have a list of clothes I want to buy that I can wear onboard. I haven't planned out my outfits for a cruise before but I have for Disney trips and it helps! No more overpacking. Looking forward to chatting with everyone. :)

  7. Hi qosmo8

i have looked all through the 144 Gifts and more and I cannot find the UBP anywhere - can you post a link to where you found it. I have read that if you prepay you will save money especially if embarking in Barcelona which has an additional tax. We embark in Rome, so I don't think the same applies, but i would like to prepay for the UBP just for convenience and less of a credit card bill when I return home.

I couldn't find it online either but you can call NCL to add it on. 800-327-7030

  8. For me, it's the variety. I try different things throughout the day. For me, having only one drink for the week would be boring. I like a fru fru drink by the pool, margaritas and wine, occasional bushwacker, mudslide..oh I'm making myself thirsty :)

This! I like variety. I don't want rum & coke everyday and I don't want to have to run back to my room everytime I'd like a drink. If I see a bar, I can stop and get whatever I want. As long as it's under $8.50 ;)

  9. Yahoo!! Also mojitos. Go us! Now my dh drinks Bloody Marys so need to find the price for them. We (dh and I) will be getting the package. Cant wait until July.

Post a little review of the UBP if you don't mind. :)

Jenny wish we were on the same cruise

We could be drinking buddies lol. Seems we drink the same things at the same pace.

I'm not worried about loud, obnoxious drunk people. It seems a select few think if you get the UBP you are an alcoholic. I'm not going to be pouding drinks 24 hours a day and I don't think other people will either. I don't think 6-7 drinks over the course of 12-16 hours is too much. And if I run into a crazy drunk the ship is big enough for me to go somewhere else lol. JMO!
