We feel its worth it, if you have five drinks total a day figure average of them being $8 and tip its practically what you paid for the day.

We like to have a couple pre dinner drinks, a couple glasses of wine during dinner, and some more drinks maybe 3-4 at night, for us that would be 7-8 drinks a day definitely worth the UBP plus the fact I can have a mimosa or two in the am why not? :p

We are the same way. We'll have beer and fruity drinks by the pool, wine with dinner, and drinks at night at the parties & shows. I can get mimosas? Woohoo! Wish you were going on my cruise LOL.

I know that Gambee also posted a very good drink menu, it looks like from the pool, I will need to see what the pina coladas are priced at along with Bloody Marys which I cannot find on any menu so far.

You're welcome! I'm in the same boat as you - trying to figure out if it's worth it and what exactly is included. The beer and wine list are pretty generous and I'm ok with most of the cocktails that are offered (hi mojito! so glad you are part of UBP lol) so I think I'm leaning toward buying it. :)

Just found a bar menu from Breakaway that Philamike posted - there are three pictures. It looks like the coveted Long Island Ice Teas are under $8.50 but I haven't seen any martinis that are.

I found this http://www.ncl.com/sites/default/files/Ultimate-Beverage-Package05222013.pdf on NCL's website. It's the terms and conditions for the UBP. I'm taking it to mean I can order a martini or frozen drink as long as it's under $8.50. Anyone have a link to a bar menu? ;)

Anyone know if you can get buckets of beer with the plan or do they have to be purchased one at a time?

Can you add on the UBP before you sail or does it have to be done onboard?

We are doing a Bermuda cruise and we considered it but we realized the last time we went to bermuda on the NCL star we were never even on the boat the three days in Bermuda so for us it would be a waste. However for one day being off of the boat if you drink an adequate amount it may be worth it.

My boyfriend is more of a beer drinker but I mix it up. We're leaning toward purchasing it as of right now since it's good for GSC. We don't plan on leaving the ship in Nassau. Been there done that! Still 5 months to decide!

We were debating getting the UBP but considering we'll be off the ship for the entire day when we dock in Port Canaveral it doesn't seem worth it. What do you guys think?

I was telling my hubby about all this 12th deck stuff and how I had fought to get us moved to it. He said we should call ourselves "The 12th Deckers". :D

Now I'm just crossing my fingers NCL will give us a couple of loungers for our spacious balconies! :)

Ok definitely switching myself from deck 14 aft! That's a teeny balcony! Looks like deck 12 is the way to go!

That aft balcony on deck 13 looks a little small to me! Worries me because I'm on deck 14 and would love a lounger but it doesn't look like it would fit. Did you see any aft balconies on lower decks? Do they seem bigger?
