Good sunny afternoon. We’re back from the vet and Tux has been given the all clear. Back tomorrow with Houdini.

Good cool and sunny morning. It’s supposed to be sunny and nice today and tomorrow then rain on the weekend. Tux goes back to the vet today for a recheck on his eye. It’s all healed up, then tomorrow is Houdini’s nurse appointment for bloodwork. I haven’t played mini golf in years, just not a fan anymore. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Good sunny morning. It’s a beautiful day here and again tomorrow. I plan on having steak on the grill for dinner tonight along with corn on the cob and baked potatoes. Good cool 50 degrees morning. Showers are expected later today. Church service this morning is outside on the front lawn followed by a picnic. The cats are enjoying the cool weather and are really frisky this morning. Tux is back to normal, but still on meds till Thursday. Today would have been my dear friend Mabel’s 97th birthday. I lost her in February 2020. I took a small pot of mums to the cemetery. She loved cruising and we did several together.❤️🙏 Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Good sunny and cool morning. It was 51 degrees at 7am. I’m so glad it is cooler out. @Crazy For Cats, good luck with the veterinary appointment today. Also, some more good news, New Holland Family Restaurant is reopening in mid October under new owner. Read their FB page for more information. Tux is doing great, medication is working. Back from the vet. It’s an eye infection but no scratches on the eyeball. He is on an antibiotic eye drop 3x a day and rechecked in a week. It probably happened from wrestling with TT. He also had a nail trim. Thanks for all the good thoughts.

Good sunny afternoon, change of plans for today. Tux has developed some type of left eye infection. The vet can see him at 3:00. It doesn’t seem to bother him, but there is some discharge. Back later.

Good cool 56 degrees and sunny morning. Its only going up to 75 today and tomorrow. I had some crab soup for lunch yesterday, it was delicious. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Good sunny and warm afternoon. The media frenzy has started to die down, he has now been transferred to the state prison for the rest of his life. The hero K9 name is Yoda. He apparently did bite him more than once. @kazu, glad to see your technical difficulties are fixed. Stay safe in the storm.

News conference just completed. Thermal imaging camera had a heat source recorded from a DEA aircraft during the night. He was found under a woodpile and the K9 dogs did their job. He was bitten as he tried to escape the dogs. He also acquired an Eagles sweatshirt somewhere. Kudos to all law enforcement officers involved.

It’s a great morning as the manhunt is over. He was captured around 8:15 this morning hiding in a field. Thee is a news conference scheduled for 9:30 . it’s a cool and very humid morning possibly more rain later today and tomorrow is supposed to be nice. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Question: Where is Zaandam headed after docking in Boston tomorrow? Royal Caribbean has already announced some changes to its ships that www heading north. Vision of the Seas is overnighting In Baltimore and heading to Port Canaveral, Nassau and their private island. Fingrrs crossed for Lady Hudson and anyone else headed that direction.

Good sunny and warm afternoon, heavy rain is expected for tomorrow with a flood watch in effect. There is no further news on the escapee. His shoes and hoodie and t shirt were found in the driveway of the house where he stole the rifle. The garage was open because the owner was inside it, they believe Danelo did not know he was there. When he grabbed the rifle the owner managed to get off several shots from a pistol. Roads in the area are closed and residents are asked to stay inside. Hopefully it will end soon.

FYI, the American Legion building fire just happened this past Sunday. It was deemed arson and the person responsible was arrested. It was a great loss for the community.
