  1. I pack my tags and a small roll of packing tape. Before going to port, tear piece of tape longer than length of tag and run tape the length of tag and leftover to attach it around luggage handle and other end of tag. Never had a problem

  2. Our cruise went to Grand Turk last summer & we found that it was very difficult to go in the water because the bottom was so rocky. Other people were complaining about the same thing. One guy came out & had cut his foot. My DH walked further down the beach to see if it was better, but it wasn't...still very rocky in the water. He didn't walk down as far as Jack's Shack thoough. How was the water or I should say, how was the sand in the water? Was it rocky at all?

We're going back to Grand Turk in June & would love to be able to go in the water other than at Margaritaville.

    Really enjoying your review, btw!

Sand down by jacks is way better. Knew from tips I read here to not hang out near pier like everyone else. Sand was nice. Some rocky and whatnot areas but on whole. Was great by Jacks.

  3. I forgot about the builder coins, Thanks, we'll have to search!

Also, I assume they still do Scavenger Hunts either at Camp Carnival or scheduled in the Fun Times?

There were kids doing a scavenger hunt in the Victory, with the people in my group, was able to knock some of the harder items for them to cover. Like, find someone with a twin, my cruise buddy, she has a twin brother.

  4. As others said, I watched some wc users load up, they asked if you can walk a few steps, it made it safer to get on tender and they loaded you right back into the chair. If seas are too rough, you may be a missed port or its not safe enough for wc to use ramp as it is locked into the tender but still loose at the boat and does slide a bit. Crew was great making sure it was safe to go or wait a second. The tender was constantly pushing against the ship to make it easier. When full, unlocked ramp from tender and slid back, closed gate and off we went to paradise

  5. There is a Tortuga store just outside the port area in Nassau. They get in fresh cakes every Thursday. Enjoy.:D

Yep yep. After you leave port and see the Tortuga and Burger King sign. You are not far from the shop. Then look down the road on left for the pirate. Pictures of each attached to know what you are looking for.

Also, you can get a good map inside the center you enter from ship at one of the desks. They were great help for directing us to the Pirates of Nassau Museum
