Fortunately for me I only love 1.5 hours from NOLA but never go as often as I should. Nothimg beats the food and lifestyle of south Louisiana. I'm glad I can always call it home.

I'm afraid to ask what a Muffaletta is and where I would go to get one??
Its an italian sandwich. Cheese, meats and olive salad. Look it up.

If you want Cafe DuMonde and Margaritaville. They are both close to each other in the Quarter.
Margaritaville is right next to the French Market. Explore there too!!

I'm so sorry for your loss. But I am ready for another Victory review. I can't wait for my trip in December.

Found this at walmart for $5 and am taking it on my first cruise in December. I loved that I could easily add ice to it as well throw down in my bag and not worrying about it spilling. Few other colors were available too. So each of us 4 that is going will have a different color. Would be easier/cheaper to refill it than buy/bring water with us or on board if its free and taste fine
Edit: if i remember tomorrow after work, will post picture of it seperated as well as the other colors.

Participate in all the trivia contests and I'm sure you will win a coveted 24 karat ship on a stick.
Have fun on your first cruise.....Trust me when I say I'm sure it won't be your last ;) :) :p
Definently not. I've been wanting to do a cruise for several years and between things with schedules with friends, money, and just RL in general it kept falling though with planning. However, I think its going to be a yearly thing from now on. I found a cruise buddy and we're going to try different ports every time as well as pull new people in who want to join us when we say 'hey, we're going to x, y, z on the ABC in Date, join us!' and let everyone else go from there. We're paid for and ready to go, just the calendar wont speed up any faster. Shame too.

Oh I am so loving this too. It gives me ideas on where to go on my next cruise. I go on my first in December and cannot wait! Thanks for sharing with us. I do hope to be able to do a review of my cruise when I get back.
Edit: Oh and I want one of those ship on a stick too. Not sure what I'll be able to do to manage to score one. Heck, maybe asking nicely if I do not manage to snag one before the cruise will work :P
