Day # 7- (April 20th) – Turnaround Day (7am - 4pm). We were up at 5am for the day. The Carnival Vista hasn’t even entered the channel to Port Canaveral as of yet. I decide that it’s a good time to work on pictures. The television is telling us that we’re leaving, but that’s not happening! On the contrary, here is our B2B information….. A little after 6am we enter the channel. Patti heads out to the Havana Area to take some pictures. There’s the Mardi Gras….. Here are some more early morning pictures as we head to our berth….. We sail past the Norwegian Jade and the Disney Fantasy….. We are the last ship to enter the port and we docked just before 7am, which is pretty late. That might have had something to do with today’s B2B experience which we’ll talk about later. To be continued…..

The noise that you heard was most likely the bow thrusters since it's not really procedure to drop the anchor when you are docking. 😃

This is our table….. Here are Patti and I at Fahrenheit 555….. We are both drinking wine by the glass tonight….. This was the amuse bouche. Don’t remember what it was….. Patti had the Young Lettuce Salad, French Onion Soup, Lobster Tail with a Baked Potato, Apple Tart Dessert, and several glasses of Rose. I had a Shrimp Cocktail, Young Lettuce Salad, 14oz New York Strip Steak with Yukon Mashed Potatoes, Apple Tart Dessert, and several glasses of Moscato. We walked out of there in a food coma and decided to head back to the cabin. We figured we would leave the barstools for the poor people who would be getting off the ship tomorrow! Today’s Cheers count: Patti = 6, Jeff = 10. For the day (+4), for the cruise (+12). Coming up next: It’s Turnaround Day. Let’s do it again!!!

Patti heads back to the cabin, but on the way stops to check out the Horizons Restaurant all the way aft….. Tonight we are having dinner at Fahrenheit 555….. Here are the menus….. To be continued…..

Afterwards, we went to Guy’s for a burger and sat down at the Red Frog Rum Bar….. Patti is going to go back to the Liquid Lounge for Marty’s Q&A, and then the Jackpot Bingo. But first she cruises by Guy’s Pig & Anchor BBQ to see what they are offering….. Patti arrives at the Liquid Lounge where Marty has already started his Q&A….. I make my way down to the Havana Area and have a couple of Malibu Bay Breezes with Kiran….. Patti plays the Jackpot Bingo, but doesn’t have any luck….. To be continued…..

I meet Patti in the Liquid Lounge for the Diamond & Platinum Reunion. Here are our invites….. Ron is entertaining us with his guitar..... They are bringing back some of the guessing games such as Guess the amount of candy, guess the ship, and guess the word….. There’s a pretty big crowd here today….. We’re sitting with Beth & Mark, and we have our drinks! Cruise Director Marty was the host….. They ran the usual video…. Captain Paolo Severini said a few words, and just like that, it was over….. The Pizzeria del Capitano is already open for the day….. The Tides Pool and Hot Tubs taken from Deck 11….. This is the smoking section on Deck 11 aft, starboard side….. Patti stops back at the cabin and finds that I Gede has already been there and left today’s towel animal….. Patti heads back upstairs for the Groove for St. Jude….. To be continued…..

The Blue Iguana Cantina is still open for breakfast….. Patti heads all the way aft. The Seafood Shack is getting ready for lunch….. To be continued……

Patti heads up to the Lido Deck and the Beach Pool….. The Blue Iguana Tequila Bar and the Red Frog Rum Bar are open for your drinking pleasure….. Guy’s Burger, however, won’t be open until noon….. To be continued…..

Day # 6- (April 19th) – Fun Day at Sea # 2. We were up at 7am to a warm and sunny day. The television is telling us that it’s our last day but the jokes on them. We aren’t going anywhere! Here are today’s Fun Times….. I head to the Ocean Plaza to get a coffee from Setyo and then back to the cabin to work on pictures until 9am. I then went to the Early Bingo Card Sales at the Ocean Plaza to pick up the Bingo Package for Patti that we had won at Deal or No Deal. I upgraded to Patti’s favorite All Out Fanatic package for $18 more….. I then went back to the Havana Area for the morning. It’s simply beautiful back here….. Jendra will keep the Bloody Mary”s flowing all morning….. Patti grabs her camera and heads out to take some more pictures. Here’s another cool Dreamscape one….. Looks like the Thing 1 & Thing 2 Birthday Breakfast is taking place down in the Reflections Restaurant….. To be continued……

It's usually the next day. Guess they weren't that busy today!

Patti pops into the Piano Bar shortly before Roger gets the party started….. Patti heads up to the Deli where she orders a turkey and swiss with an order of fries….. Afterwards, Patti stops by the Red Frog Pub & Brewery where Clinton is playing the steel drum…… Patti heads back to the cabin for the night. In the meantime I have made my way to the Limelight Lounge for the 8:45pm 18+ comedy show starring Damon Sumner. I’ve got my “punchliner”…… That’s Matt the Comedy Host….. Damon Sumner on stage. He was really funny. I gave him an 8.5 out of 10….. Afterwards, I made my way to the Lobby Bar where I had a few drinks with Melissa. I got back to the cabin around 11pm. Here are the cookies that we received for doing B2B cruises. There were five cookies on that plate at one time. Patti and I had already eaten two each. They were good! Today’s Cheers count: Patti = 1, Jeff = 7. For the day (-4), for the cruise (+8). Coming up next: Our second fun day at sea!!

When we went back to the cabin we found that the laundry that Patti sent out this morning has been returned….. I’m going to hang out in the cabin for a couple hours relaxing and working on pictures. Patti wants to get some pictures of some of the performers so out she goes again. As she passes the Ocean Plaza she hears the Solo Guitar Sounds with Ron….. Next she captures the Dreamscape in the Atrium Lobby….. Juno Smile are performing Country Music there…. Patti checks out the IMAX Theater on Deck 7 forward….. To be continued….

We went up to Guy’s Burger for a late lunch and then made our way back to the Havana Area. We hung out back there having a drink until sail away. We are sailing away from Amber Cove….. To be continued……

Patti returns to our Pool Cabana where she took these shots….. Here is our server, Randall….. For the next couple of hours we hung out on our deck having a few drinks. Around 1:30pm we pay our drink tab, ($95 + tip), and head back to the ship….. We waited and looked for Alfredo but we didn’t see him, so we had # 14 take us back to the ship…… Once back in the cabin we found that I Gede had left us today’s towel animal….. To be continued……
