I was wondering if we would be taking over your cabin, but I see that you're on the starboard side and we're on the port side.π -

What is the Best Itinerary on Carnival?

Sorry. You were replying to Jimbo's post that said "explain how it was bait and switch", so I assumed you were giving an explanation of why it was bait and switch. My bad. -

My vote is also for Hawaii. We sailed there on the Splendor in 2019 and loved it. Lots of special activities on board for all those sea days. Our picture review can be found in my signature, and includes all the "Fun Times". We will be sailing back there next year on the Carnival Spirit. Can't wait! -
What is the Best Itinerary on Carnival?
Jamman54 replied to bdeluca03's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Well, it wasn't quite as bad as that, but if a person looked at the deck plans before booking, they would have known what the ship did or didn't have. That's not bait and switch. π -

You'll need to research Journeys cruises to hit those ports. π -
Well, we're going to have to do a full investigation for future reference! π
-
That's a great plan!!! π

You can count on it. We've done quite a few B2B'S but we never paid that much attention to it before. π
-
Stock up the night before! That's my plan. π

Java Blue is open in the morning and if you have Cheers it will be accepted. However, I don't think that the spiked coffees are available. I'm not sure about that. It will close for a while. The Ocean Plaza may be open for coffee but nothing alcoholic. I will be checking these things out for sure once aboard. π

No bars are open on debarkation morning, and the bars do not open until the new passengers begin boarding. We're doing the same B2B, so we'll see you on board. π Edited to add that on our Venezia B2B last September, we did receive Mimosas. This varies by ship and the Hotel Director.

Have to agree. Going to the Southen Caribbean for the 6th time when we are on the Vista in a few weeks. Will be heading to Hawaii for the 2nd time next year. Many Journeys cruises have some awesome itineraries as well. π -

From what I can make out of your post, it appears that you made Diamond on the first day of the 2nd leg of B2B cruises. Is that correct? If it is, it appears that those cruises weren't linked. If they were, you would have been Diamond from the first day of the first cruise. I know several people where this was the case. π

TxTeach79's Norwegian Sun Spring Break Shorty LIVE - 3/13/24
Jamman54 replied to TxTeach79's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
If you have the time, road tripping is the way to go. Carry all the luggage you want with no worries about the weight. No rental cars or paying for uber's. Yes, there will be some extra hotel stays, and you do have to pay for gas, but you get to take in some of the sights that you don't get from 39,000 feet. It's all about the planning. π
