It would be a pleasure!

I couldn't believe that it was six years since we had been there ourselves. Of course, Covid had a lot to do with it.

Patti checks out the Water Works and the Beach Pool….. This is the smoking section on Deck 11 aft on the starboard side….. The seas are nice and calm….. Patti goes to the IMAX theater for the 5:30pm showing of “Civil War”. Afterwards, she meets me at the Lobby Bar for a couple of drinks….. Here’s another beautiful Dreamscape….. We decide to head up to the Lido Marketplace for dinner. Patti grabs some items from the buffet, and I get myself a pizza…… Afterwards, we grab some ice cream and head back to the cabin for the night. Today’s Cheers count: Patti = 5, Jeff = 11. For the day (+4), for the cruise (+8). Coming up next: Our day in Grand Turk.

There’s a Pickleball Tournament going on at the Sports Court….. Patti goes up to watch the people on the Sky Ride and Ropes Course….. To be continued…..

Here is one of the several Beverage Stations in the Lido Marketplace….. There are plenty of places to sit….. Patti has a salad and some mac & cheese for lunch….. We’re feeling sleepy so we head back to the cabin for a nap. I Gede has left us a new towel animal….. Patti heads outside for our sail away from Half Moon Cay….. To be continued…..

Patti is thirsty from her time on Half Moon Cay, so she heads to the Havana area where Jendra sets her up with a refreshing Mocha Chocolate Getaway….. Here is the outside Havana Bar and menus….. We hang out on our daybed for a while until we start feeling hungry. I go to the Deli for a couple of chili dogs and fries. Patti checks out the Salad Bar….. To be continued…..

I was a little shaky early but recovered quickly. The pool was cool and refreshing, and the hot tubs were comfortably warm. 😎

It was about $1000 back then. Carnival recently jacked the prices way up. 😎

Here are some of the current staff housing units….. The tour is now over. It lasted about 45 minutes. Patti is going to go back to the ship. She passes through security and is on the next Water Shuttle….. To be continued….

They leave the Stingray Adventure and travel into areas that are not open to the public…… Here is the back of the Island BBQ and the crew break area again….. They are building more housing. By the end of the year there will be almost a thousand staff members living on the island…. They pass the fresh water and fuel storage tanks, and the recycling plant….. To be continued…..

Here are some views of the beaches and water taken from the Pegasus Ranch….. They next head to the back side of the island and to Bonefish Lagoon. This is where the Aqua Trax and Kayak excursions leave from….. They arrive at the Stingray Adventure…… To be continued…….

They have reached the Pegasus Ranch. This is where the horse riding excursions take place. They arrive there just as this group is finishing up, so she won’t be able to get any pictures of them in the water….. To be continued…..

Here are some more views from Cannon Point…… The next stop is going to be at the Pegasus Ranch which is all the way at the other end of the beach. The tram takes the back road first passing the Oasis….. They next pass the Water Shuttle landing area….. Here is where the crew can take their breaks….. To be continued…..

These vendor stalls are the only place on the island that takes cash. All other purchases are charged to your Sail & Sign Card….. There’s nothing like some live Caribbean music….. Here is some of Patti’s Flora & Fauna up to this point….. It’s time for her tour, so she boards the Island Tram Calypso Tour. She sits at the back which is perfect for taking pictures. Here is her Tour Guide….. They head out to Cannon Point which is where the Water Shuttles enter the channel….. Here are a couple of views of the Carnival Vista anchored offshore….. Patti continues with her walking tour. Down at this end of the beach is the Oasis. This rents for $2,000 for up to 20 people. This is well worth it if you can put together a large group. It includes your own bartender, cook, and lifeguard. You also have private bathrooms and a large hot tub….. Patti heads back into the plaza which is much busier now. The Rumrunners Bar is pretty busy….. If you left your towels on the ship, don’t worry because they have them here….. These are the gift shops….. To be continued……
