Just got off the Adventure today out of CL. Slap a luggage tag on it and it will be delivered to your stateroom. I saw many cases in the hallways as bags were being delivered.

We are on the same cruise! We are planning on getting to the port b.n 930 and 10.

Sailing on Adventure soon. We have a bungalow for coco cay, and I've seen people mention that you should go pick it out when you get on the ship. Can someone please remind me where that is? Want to do it early so I dont forget. TIA!!!

Just revisited this thread, as I am actually starting to pack now. Just wanted to say thanks again for all the great ideas. Trying not to go overboard (no pun intended), but I tend to be the pack as if I'm preparing for the end of the world / zombie apocalypse person. Many great ideas here, so thank you so much again!

Hey CC! What is the earliest you guys would suggest getting to the pier at Cape Liberty? Sailing the Adventure next Friday. We are planning to park at the pier. What is best time to go? I guess what time does it "open" if that makes sense. I've seen people say they are on the ship by 1030.. I also know the previous sailing has to get off... I was thinking getting to parking around 915? Is that too early? Just dont know how much time it takes to unload and then park. TIA!

Any advice for a 1st time stop in Port Canerval? We are in port from 12 to 9. Will be me, DH, 4 yo DD, 2yo DS, 12 yo niece. Not going to try for Disney b.c I hear it is so far. Not bringing car seats with us. Is there anything within walking distance? Or shuttles anywhere? TIA!

We are stopping there in 2 weeks. We decided not to do any of the parks that day.. from what I have researched it is an hour to 1.5 hour each way to Disney. At 120 pp per day, not worth the 4 to 5 hours that we would be in there

No problem but would child in it and push him. Or put stuff in it if he insists on walking!

Not a bad idea. I'm sure he will want to be carried.. but you're right, we could throw bags in it.

Can I slap a luggage tag on an umbrella stroller to be delivered to our room? Would like to bring one just in case for my 2 year old.. but do not want to worry about carrying it with everything else when we get on the ship. We need hands to hold our kids. lol:) My DS does t really use one anymore, but thought maybe would be good for around the ship when he is tired.

Adventure does not have a nursery?? I swear I read that it did.

How about Monster? We have drink package, so not taking anything away.. I like to have them in the morning sometimes.

Yay or nay? 12 yo niece wants to do it.. says the ride is 6 minutes (plus boat rides). Any insight?

I just got off the ship today. The slides were closed on the day we docked in Port Canaveral. My family had the same idea of using the slides on that day but were out of luck. No music by the pool either or activities. The ship was more than half full that day.

Ugh. That really sucks. I have no idea what to do that day then. We have 2 littles, and I am NOT dragging car seats on the ship! From what I have read, there is not much near the Port.

Stick something in her shoes to make her taller in case they measure her.

 

I did that with my kids to get on rides at SeaWorld & Six Flags when they were not quite tall enough.

Awesome. My DD is 41.75 inches and she wants to go on that slide in the worst way.. hoping the shoes gave her the qtr inch she needs.;p;p

One more question (sorry for so many!).. Are kids allowed to wear their water shoes in the kids splash area/ water slides ("purple slide" as my 4yo calls it). On Adventure if that matters. Thanks again for all the info!! :)
