Wendy,
You can book all your tours at once for the entire trip - not segment by segment.

Barbara and Rich,
Looking forward to seeing you in August.

eliana,
Go to reception when you get on the ship and let them know you want to go to M&M and ask to have an invitation.

Focused1,
It's certainly worth asking a question.

Rich and Jim,
Thank you for taking me along on your trip - it's always a wonderful experience to see things through other's eyes.
Rich: Looking forward to meeting you and Barbara next summer.
Safe travels home . . .

I'm so glad to see the bamboo stick dance back again! Hopefully, it is fleet-wide.

And the wall cabinets as well

There is a small dresser permanently in all the standard cabin closets on the Navigator - it does help with storage but basically, I agree with Portolan and UUNet Bill: what could they have been thinking!

I agree about the volume of the music and all the entertainment around the ship: far too loud. Someone from the staff needs to sit in the various venues to listen.
Please do something! My ears hurt!

Thanks as always Rich!
I noticed the Philippine bamboo stick dance is back in Krew Kapers! yea!

Jason,

Terri,
Thanks for the heads up on the Tahiti’s National Treasures tour. Much appreciated!

Rich,
Thanks for the specific information about the tour - I'm on a different one in Papeete (Tahiti's Natural Treasures) although it too talks about the rough roads. I think I'll wait and talk to someone in Destinations when I get on the ship.
I'll be on the WC starting in January so will be going to many of the places you are as well and will pay attention to your tour reviews.
There is a thread for the Cloud trip - I found it a couple of days ago. Here's the link:
The last posting - just before mine - was in September so "not very active" is probably a good description. There are a few people
I'm just on for the Reykjavik->Reykjavik trip plus the pre-cruise.
Keep on enjoying your Mariner trip and I'll continue enjoying your blog!
And thanks!

Cold in Texas is not the same as cold in the North East I lived in South Texas for a number of years!
I hope you had fun in NY.
We're supposed to have rain tonight so the snow actually stuck will be gone by morning.
If there is someone on your cruise continuing on, I hope s/he posts.
And thanks again!

rcandkc,
I looked on the first page and there it was - JVilleGal was the key.And then I saw the title. I have no idea how I missed it before.
Anyway, it's been a while since the last posting and I'm still hoping that someone will post. Not likely though.
Thanks for your patience.
I don't know where you are in Texas but we're getting snow - not too much so far - in New York.

rcandkc,
Near the top of the page, there is a line starting with https://boards.cruisecritic.com/
and then more . . . .that should be what I want.
Thanks . . .

rcandkc,
May 30 Amsterdam->Southampton doesn't show up for me. NY->Amsterdam and then Southampton onward. Can you copy the link for me?
TIA

Barbara,
Which island had the Truck Tour? Bora Bora or Raiatea? And what was the name of the tour, specifically? The Navigator stops in both ports next January and I want to be sure I have all the correct information. TIA
And on another subject - I think we're sailing together next August on the Silver Cloud.

I checked the Navigator Roll Calls and there is no Roll Call for the D-Day cruise . . . too bad.
I'm "here/there" fairly frequently so I'll keep looking. I wonder what happened to the regular poster here who was on that trip . . . or if it has to do with being a Charter.

Roll Call: I'll check it out.
Thanks rcandkc

How do you manage your house, pets, etc. while on such a lengthy cruise?

Wendy,
Regent switched to Luggage Forward last Spring.
The only time this matters is on a World Cruise and on Grand Voyages when transporting a specific number of suitcases to/from the ship is a perk for Full Trippers.
If you do not have the perk, you can use any service you prefer.
Peggy
PS: I have used Luggage Free for many years and have found them very easy to work with.
