Its really going to be hit or miss with Surf only and Facetime. Maybe it will be good enough to connect for Facetime if you are close to a router or something but it likely wont be stable. In the speedtest screenshots I've seen posted here .... its really not much of a connection to do more than your basic surfing.

On Liberty last year they had Goose Island IPA , and also the above mentioned Longhammer. I would have loved to have seen the Dogfish.

Yea that's the 312. But it's wheat so it's just a meh IPA

As far as IPAs go there isn't much unfortunately. They always have Redhook Long Hammer on the menu, but they've never actually had it aboard when I was on. 312 is widely available, and while only a pale ale, they have Sierra Nevada. On Adventure in February, they also had Dogfish Head 90 minute which was a nice surprise. But they only had one case aboard and it didnt last long. The bartender said they were trying some things out, hoping for more craft selections in the future.

Glad I had 2nd thoughts and never ended up booking. Went for a corner after balcony on Indy instead.

We did out honeymoon on Independence and they gave us some sort of cake at dinner one night, and there were also some fancy chocolates in the cabin a few times.

Yes but you can't get both the balcony discount and the OBC it is either one or the other

Does OBC show when doing the booking? Did a mock up and has the C&A discount but no mention of OBC.

Probably best to skip it. They usually say its 6 or more a day to break even.

There's a craft brewery in St. Johns, but their beers are average and available in the States. There's also one in St. Croix near Christiansted but my understanding was its not in a very good neighborhood.

Sometimes Royal has a promotion and then some agents get OBC added on top. The more you spend the more OBC you get back. Shop around a bit and take the best deal. Theres a certain site out there that lets various TAs COMPETE for your CRUISE business.
