  1. May be time to see a dermatologist? They can look at your skin with micro-goggles. Wishing you well!
  2. Tom, Brittany, Phoebe, and I will also be on the Ovation Hawaii cruise! Followed by Celebrity Alaska cruise! Can't wait!
  3. How odd! Hope it goes away soon. That must be making you crazy? I'd find some anti-itch lotion pronto!😬
  4. We had that once and were told that it could be sea lice (tiny baby jellyfish) which are practically undetectable. They produce an itchy rash. So we started using sea lice repellant after that.
  5. Oh, wow and sorry to hear about the CV affecting some of our group! 🤒 Was there any anecdotal info on the numbers onboard who caught it? Here's hoping that every cruise has fewer cases until it is but a dim memory! We also tested after being home a day or two to be on the safe side. Luckily it was negative.
  6. We were at the Limoncello tasting, lol! YUM! We were in the group picture in the conference room taken by Greg. Just not the formal staircase one. Yeppers! We'll be at the professional one on Wonder!
  7. Same. With two of us working to get Phoebe ready before dressing ourselves, it was like a Three Stooges movie, lol! Us, too. I guess we could have sent Tom down to represent?
  8. I know exactly what you mean! When we got home I made Goulash, especially since it was so chilly out! Warms the body and the soul...
  9. @Sea Dog AMAZING! Loved the timing of "a drink in my hand"... and the week itself seemed to go by just as fast~!
  10. Thank you so much for your kind comments! For those who don't recognize the skater, he is Marco and played the "Emperor" from Frozen in Time Ice show. When the Ice Captain asked for volunteers to be Phoebe's escort, his hand shot in the air first according to Michelle. He shared that he has an aunt who is also wheelchair bound that he takes ice skating! Brittany (our nurse) who was also out on the ice said that he was constantly talking to her! Humanity.
  11. Phoebe has CP (cerebral palsy). On a pre-covid cruise we ran into two young women (18-19 yrs old) from another cruise ship while enjoying breakfast in San Juan. One of the girls wanted a picture of Phoebe because her disabled sister was never allowed to travel. She seemed quite shocked that Phoebe does frequently. Her plan was to show her father a different view.
  12. Yes! She's seen them on the phone. Going to hook it up to the TV so she can see it better. When we were waiting to go into Studio B down by the Deck 3 Conference Room she knew we were going to go ice skating. She was very excited!
  13. Yes you are! How cool is that? You truly were and congrats on your winnings! We loved the slot pull. Such fun! I love laundry! So I saved if for today. Started Load 1... Indeed it was! What a wonderful tribute. I made it through all of the posts with maybe a moist eye here and there. And then this... full out tears, Miss Sue! You touched our hearts as well. Let's keep in touch.
  14. Hi! I forgot to say how much I enjoyed meeting you and Stephen (Steven?). Looking forward to seeing him in June at the Riviera Resort. He was so nice to Phoebe and she enjoyed the Olaf waves! Please tell him we said hi if he is not on the CC Boards. This is all I managed from your list! Tom did the Bourbon mixed drinks. I think I got a few more off of John's list (Peach Daquiri; Espresso martini). Also had several champagne cocktails (a favorite). Need to try the Cape Codder, though! Oh, Sue! I forgot to look. We were over by Harbor Beach for most of the day. I would say 10 AM might be late based on the entire parking garage being full by 10:45-11:00AM? But this was Spring Break so may not be the norm? When we were leaving Parking Garage A at 7:45ish... there were half a dozen people driving in to park. We were one of the lucky ones who got the last few spaces on the roof. Not a HA space but we got Phoebe out and then parked. Yes, I remember East Greenwich. The drive to school was a long way and we went through several towns it seemed. Nixon closed the bases in 1973 I think because we got transferred back to Florida. Loved Florida when I left. Not so much when I had tasted the schools in RI... amazing education system up there! Luckily I was at the SL Concierge Desk when I mentioned my card opened doors, but would not play in the slots? Got a new card. EPIC is not necessarily a quantity when you have such quality! 😛😉
  15. We have two rooms on hold, too! Waiting to find out from Phoebe's nurse if she can fit it in her social calendar? LOVE that it is going from PC which is only 2+ hours from home! Plus haven't been on the Wonder since the 2022 EB TA last May.
  16. I forgot to add that we followed the signs leaving the Port via the tunnel. Then signs directing us toward 95N via I-395. As soon as we saw the Express Lanes sign we got in the left lane and booked it for home! Thank you, SunPass!
