  1. Wow! That's the way to celebrate! Rising Tide Bar above that sea of humanity but still right in the middle of everything! Happy New Year and Birthday to boot! Loving this...
  2. Our first cruise on Royal Caribbean with our special needs daughter was on Oasis. We LOVED it! She LOVED it more! I think you will find people will be kind when it comes to the elevator more often than not. (There's always a few #@%, 😉). We did request a table in the MDR that would be easy to access and we were right at the first table in front of the doors. There is a wheelchair lift in Studio B for the ice shows that will allow your child to sit in the front row. Arrive a little early and ask a crew member to help you. Enjoy your cruise!
  3. I also meant to mention the the regular Panoramic OV cabins seem to have plenty of storage space. It was the Accessible one that did not...
  4. Looking forward to trying the Panoramic Suite! We recently sailed on Adventure in the HA Panoramic OV. If you look on the Deck plans they appear to be only slightly smaller than the Suites. However it was a horrible cabin with no storage, or space. The square footage included a long hallway which was not functionally usable. Booked it for 4 people which included our daughter in a wheelchair. On day one we had to move one person into another cabin along with luggage. There is no way this is comfortable for more than 2 people. Only one closet with about 10 inches of hanging space (one rail) and some cubbies. Super tiny safe. 5. Usually jacuzzi's have a heater that will keep the water hot when circulating (if you set the temp). But that may not be true for these? I am very happy that we reserved one of these on Oasis for the Bella Cruise in March 2023!
  6. I thought you were on the Sep 29th AOS NE/Canada cruise with us?? 😉
  7. Thanksgiving makes many of us reflect on what we cherish. Your post brings home that life's most precious gift is love. You have it in spades, my friend! God's peace to you and your family.
  8. Shipside usually denies any knowledge of shoreside sales... so agreeing with above posters. 🙄
  9. I called my TA and let her wait to connect with RCCL for almost 3 hours while I monitored with my cell phone. Yes, it was a long time, but I got a reduction of $636, so worth it to me! 😃
  10. Dang... no RCL offer on any of my three Amex cards! But I am getting River cruise offers, lol!
  11. Probably so taken aback by what happened... or some people do not feel safe traveling alone. Or alone with a small child?
  12. It's my favorite cabin type to date. Sailed on Oasis Deck 11. It was fantastic!
  13. LOL! Should have included emojis! My pun was that perhaps there WAS a little drama from the corn hole boards' perspective! 😁
  14. Questions for anyone who has seen or stayed in this cabin... I found ONE video of this cabin. Unfortunately the gentleman did not capture all aspects of the room which I seek to know. Such as: 1) what is the closet and drawer space for clothing in this cabin? 2 Which way is the shower seat facing? Right Left or Side? Mariner of the Seas' version of this cabin seems to have a walk-in closet, but I have a feeling ours does not. With 4 people, if we don't have significant closet space, I need to get creative. (Magnets come to mind, lol!) We will have a rollaway and a wheelchair in the cabin. Plus 20-ish bags/suitcases. Any info would be so appreciated!
  15. Thanks so much for your replies! I have booked "Taste of Royal" and "Sake and Sushi Lunch" for our last two sea days. I don't mind giving up "Taste of Royal" for "Cheers with an Officer" since they are similar lunches! Looking forward to this cruise! I have been doing solo trips for the last year. This will be the first one for my family since pre-covid! Cheers with an Officer is a special lunch (usually from Chops Grille) for Diamond Plus guests with more than 340 points. The Loyalty Ambassador sends an invite to your stateroom based on Crown & Anchor level. Pre-covid it used to be "Dine with an Officer", but now the officers stand together and everyone has a glass of champagne/prosecco and toasts each other before the lunch begins. The officers then leave and you dine with your fellow D+/Pinnacle guests.
  16. Hello, ALL! We are sailing on September 29 for the NE/Canada Fall Foliage Cruise. Does anyone know which day Cheers with an Officer might be held? Or has been for the last few cruises? Thought it was always on a sea day, but on Ovation it was held on a port day... so I am not making any assumptions!
  17. Yes! As long as they have your information in order to access your account.
