  2. Hi

ii. When the ship berths at Kings Wharf does it normally face the same way? I'm trying to work out if we wanted a sea view whilst in Bermuda should I book a starboard or port sided room. If the berth varies then I'll just take pot luck!

The Breakaway docks at Heritage Wharf, and just for fun, this year I have been keeping track of which way she docks. So far, she has called 18 times and docked port side alongside 10 of those times, including our visit the week of August 14. We will be back onboard for the last Bermuda run on October 23, and am hoping for port side again, since we will be in the aft Haven suite in the port corner. Gives great view of the whole Dockyard area, including any pier runners.

  3. I am on breakaway now in haven and my butler Ramona is fantastic. I have seen her more in on the first day then my other butler I had two years ago.

We had Ramona when we were in an aft Haven suite April of last year. We loved her, too. Every time we have been on since, we have hoped to have her again, but no luck. We will be on again in an aft suite next week. Please tell her Nancy and Victor hope to have her again starting Sunday.

  4. You'll be taken up to the Haven and given some snacks (usually sliders) while the concierge welcomes you and briefly explains what he/she can do for you during the week. Then, you are free to do what you want. Some will go to the Haven Restaurant for lunch, many more will go to their cabins and drop stuff off and then explore the ship. Sorry, can't answer about the slides, ropes, etc. Hope you enjoy your cruise.

  5. Thanks to those of you who did the mock bookings. I just did that myself and I also see that the service charges are listed for a non-Haven category (if you choose the UBP and/or SDP), and are not listed for Haven suites. So, I am cautiously optimistic that Haven perk has not been taken away, despite how the latest terms and conditions read.

  6. I have never posted a picture before, but I will try to post 2 pictures of the balcony on aft Haven suite 14872. We always stay in one of the H6 suites, and this was one of the smaller balconies (plenty wide but not particularly deep), but the only real complaint was the window washing contraption you can see at the far end. It blocked your view if you tried to look around the corner.

  7. The Captain is Hakan Svedung.

    The Hotel director is Prem.

Scott Mikelonis is the cruise director, but Dan Dan is coming onboard after this cruise for a 2 week large ship training before Scott leaves.

Thanks - we have cruised with all except Dan Dan before. Since you are in the Haven, as we will be, who is the concierge and who is the Haven Restaurant maitre'd?
