Iluvcruising2 Posted June 19, 2016 #8 Share Posted June 19, 2016 (edited) Very interesting. I've been interested to explore sailing on Aida and Tui cruise lines but don't really know where to start. Do their cruises cater to English-speaking passengers? We speak good English so we are very comfortable on Royal, NCL, Celebrity and the likes. Recently sailed on MSC, also ok. Rare steamboats Posted June 19, 2016 #9 Share Posted June 19, 2016 Do their cruises cater to English-speaking passengers? Clear answer: No! Language onboard is German. You won´t find many non German speaking passengers onboard. The crew does speak English too as this is the working language onboard. But I doubt there are any English menus or dailies. steamboats
FreestyleNovice Posted June 19, 2016 #10 Share Posted June 19, 2016 I too would skip TUI and Aida, their product seems to offer good value but it's indeed solely aimed on German speaking guests. A taster cruise maybe, but not anything longer than that. And that's not meant to be negative in any way btw. :)
