Occidental Aruba Day Pass

I called the 800 number above for Occdidental, but they only take reservations for a stay, not for day passes. And, I sent an email to Occidental over a week ago, but no reply yet.

Any other ideas on how to contact them? Thanks!

Couple of questions about Renaissance -

1. Further up this thread it states hotel is 2 miles from dock. Is that correct? I thought it was a couple of blocks away.

2. Did you make reservations in advance?

3. Did they give you towels?

4. Did they take credit cards? Thanks.

it is not 2 miles away. its about 2-3 blocks and very near the port. walk out of the port gate and make a right on the main street, go down a couple blocks and it will be on your left.

no we didn't make revervations. just go to the front desk.

yes they gave us towels.

i dont know about the credit card, we paid cash.

when you pay at the front desk they will give you ticket vouchers for your lunch and a drink for the resturant on the island, and also you get one for a non-motorized thing.. ie float, etc. they will also give you a "fake" room key to show to the boat driver so you can get on the boat.

Thanks for your information. We will be there May 2, and I have contacted them regarding our day pass. And, I was glad to know about getting there. Just wanted to clarify that we were told by the hotel manager that the adult price as $76.13, and that was for 8:00 - 6:00.

One question....the hotel manager said we would have access to all "non-motorized" watercraft, but we wanted to ride a banana boat. Do you remember if they had one?

Banana boats are considered "motorized" watersports since the "banana" is towed by a power boat. Banana boat rides run around $15 pp. Non-motorized watersports generally refers to kayaks, snorkel gear and the like.

I found this on their website

All-inclusive activities include:

Water polo

Water aerobics

Sailing

Snorkeling

Kayaking

Tennis courts

Sports and SCUBA clinics

Fitness room

Daily activities by the pool and beach areas

Additional activities not included in the all-inclusive rate are:

18-hole golf course nearby

Massage services

Casino

Water skiing

Aquatic motor bikes

Parasailing

SCUBA diving

Deep-sea fishing

Horseback riding tours

Private tennis lessons

Car rental

Babysitting services
