Hotel suggestions near Lake Como

We are flying into Milan June 2018 - we would like to stay in the Lake Como area for 2-3 nights before our cruise from Venice. Looking for suggestions on where to stay.

Grand Hotel Tremezzo. It is about a block walk to the ferry which takes you across the lake to Bellagio. Stayed there a week many years ago and dream of going back!

Great place to stay!

We have also stayed at La Darsenia in a corner room with two balconies...lovely Italian boutique hotel...very small and right on the lake, close to ferry!

Don't book the Best Western property. It is a dud.

Hotel Villa D'Este which is little expensive but worth every penny with amazing service, amazing gardens, amazing restaurants and SPA :)

After a lot of research we booked the Hilton Lake Como. Hope its as nice as the photos.
