Private transfers

We have just booked out cruise on Edge for 2019 and we have been given private transfers from the airport to the hotel and from the ship to the airport.

In the past when we have booked with Celebrity we have been on a coach. Apparently, not so this time as there are no coaches when we fly out for a pre cruise stay.

The TA told us that these transfers come with a free drink etc but we can't find any information about this at all and can't believe that we may be getting a private taxi for the lowest price.

Has anyone done these transfers with them before?

Sorry, so excited that I forgot to mention that it was Rome :-)

Have been told that because there was no coach we get a special transfer for the same cost. The information also mentions a dedicated cruise transfer (we are thinking coach to be honest) and a private transfer back (thinking coach or a small mini bus) Just confused but happy to go with whatever.

25th wedding anniversary cruise so very excited tonight !!!!
