cocolocofl Posted February 27, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2012 This will be our 5th cruise with RCCL, but our first in an aft cabin. Really looking forward to it! I can't seem to find any pics of it anywhere. Has anyone stayed in it? If so, can you post some pics? I keep reading both positive and negative reviews on aft cabins. I've read that the view is spectacular and the balcony is extra big, but is the cabin itself any different? Also, is there an issue with: Soot? Noise from the Windjammer above? Can diners in the Windjammer see the balcony? Is there ANY breeze back there? Is the walk from the elevator when you're sweaty and tired - horrible? (lol) Thank you! cb at sea Posted February 27, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2012 The cabin is no different from any other of the same catagory, but the balcony IS deeper.... You won't have a noise issue, and there shouldn't be soot! The WJ is enclosed, so no one can peer down on you! There is little breeze when moving, so it can get pretty hot. Yes, the walk is a pain in the ass! If you leave your room once during the day and never return, it's not too bad, but if you come and go frequently, the walk gets old fast!
